My husband drove 2.5 hours and when he arrived 2 hours early, Juan was selling the vehicle to customers that walked in 20 minutes earlier. When I called him to find out what happened, he just kept repeating that anyone could walk in, and appointments weren't necessary cause they don't hold vehicles. Asked for the sales manager Mr. Tondre, no response back after Juan gave him my information and I left a voicemail message. Did get a call from "Paco" to sell me a brand new vehicle for "only" 4K-6K more but "the payments would be the same if we extend the loan out to 72 months." More
Sales manager is the worst. They are more dishonest than usual for a dealership. Def recommend San Marcos Toyota! I was in the market to buy a Toyota RAV4 but had a strict budget. They had fair prices and I was impressed with the sales rep I worked with Ricardo M I was in the market to buy a Toyota RAV4 but had a strict budget. They had fair prices and I was impressed with the sales rep I worked with Ricardo M. He was so patient and helpful during the process. I was not the easiest customer as I had lots of questions and wanted to make sure I got a good used RAV4. During the process Ricardo was always quick to answer my texts and helped me through the process to find the right vehicle without the typical skeezy car salesman games and tactics that make me want to walk out.. I also want to give a shout out to the General Manager Bill Ferguson. When I 1st called in to inquire about a vehicle I had asked a few questions on the car and got a wrong answer. I received a personal call from the GM Bill shortly afterwards to update me that he heard about the Rav I was looking at and it looked like the Rep accidentally gave me wrong info and he wanted to make sure before I drove all the way down to look at it I had all the correct info..he ended up helping me find an alternative. Willy in Finance was also nice to work with during the process. I’m impressed and glad I gave you my business! More
Went in to JUST look and we meet Theo. He is very professional answered all questions and was NEVER pressured. We ended up buying a new truck and have no regrets. They silently removed the vehicle protection package from the final invoice which was part of the deal and negotiations. They bring you a paper with estimated loan payments and ask you to write your asking price etc. They use this to scribble their numbers/writings (strike/add) later and use it against you. The final invoice was adjusted to the out of the door price agreed by both parties but they "clandestinely" removed the vehicle protection package. No mention of it even once. CHECK THE FINAL INVOICE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING YOU NEGOTIATED FOR AS PART OF THE DEAL IS MENTIONED/INCLUDED. Stay Away!! Not Trust Worthy!!!!!Look for another dealer!!!! More

I arrived and John Clayton sat down and scribbled down on a piece of paper what he recommended I should have done. Oil Change $104.95 Rotation $39.95 AF $49.95 CF $79.95 Wipers $49.95 Oil Treatment $89.95 Battery Service $89.95 4WD Service $499.95 Alignment $139.95 Balance $149.95 3 Part Fuel System Service $229.95 Brake Fluid Exchange $189.95 PS Fluid Exchange $189.95 Evap Service $239.95 $2274.20 for a 30k service on a 2021 Tacoma in mint condition. I rejected this obvious ludicrus estimate and this Service advisor who had the audacity to think I would accept this obvious attemp to oversell his recommendation for what I SHOULD have performed on my vehicle. I’ve spent a lot of money on vehicles and service here in the past, but this is my absolute LAST trip from Schertz to San Marcos Toyota AND my absolute LAST Toyota puchased if that is their strategy for customer support. Definately a third rate shady used car lot type experience. This dealership has experienced a spectacular flame-out. I’m embarrased for you! More
