My Review Of San Tan Hyundai:
Courteous, professional, amiable, respectful, accomodating, consultative...the list goes on and each word describes both the people and sales experience at this dealership. The fairness of the deal and transparent communication were fantastic. This is a long a favorable review. Why? Because this dealership wholly deserves it!
Courteous: They know buying a car is a big decision. In my case, I was only 9 months into a car I just bought in October from another dealer/brand and just didnt love the car I had. I went to San Tan Hyundai for advice. Far before we talked "sale" they offered advice. Sound corny? It's not. They truly focused on features and benefits and helped me work on a game plan to get out of a car I didnt love and into one I did.
Professional: Let's be realistic, car buyers need to save it and dealers need to make it - money. Noone complains when paying a 70% margin on a new TV from someplace like Best Buy, but consumers gripe when a dealer makes $1500 on a $30,000 deal...Meeting in the middle is key and they were professional and transparent about their needs as I was mine. It went a long way in understanding what we needed to accomplish. Mutual education was important and well received.
Amiable & Respectful: the dealership knew I was looking at other vehicles. They didn't bash or trash talk other brands or other dealers, rather they focused on the Hyundai brand features and benefits. They didnt make me feel wrong for considering other options and provided concrete data for pros & cons. No scare tactics, no pressure.
Accomodating & Consultative: The dealership General Manager and salesperson listened to what I wanted to accomplish and what my needs were. They knew I was short on time (as we had just had a baby) and tired. This entire deal was done with less than 20 minutes in the actual dealership (to merely fill out a credit app and let them do a trade appraisal). The day after I visited to do the credit app and trade-in appraisal visit, we did the entire deal with me at home and with a couple of phone calls, an email and mostly a handful of text messages. Talk about accomodating! They even printed all of the paperwork and brought it by our house (along with the new car) and did the delivery right at our home, knowing it was hard for us to get out with a new baby at home. If that's not accomodating, I don't know what is! Ryan was amazing, concerned for our time when it was he working after hours to deliver a vehicle to us when it was convenient for us, then taking time to train us on the vehicle and explain anything we wanted.
To all those looking for a vehicle: This is a fair and reasonable dealer. I have worked in relation to the auto industry for many years and have come across many car dealers (personally and professionally). I would place this dealership and their outstanding personnel in the highest echelon of positive experiences. The General Manager (Tom), his people and especially his sales-person, Ryan Plunkett, were a real pleasure to work with and have wholly earned my respect and future referrals.
