I stopped by Sander's Ford on a whim. Michael greeted me when I was looking at the used cars and offered his help. He was thoroughly versed in the condition of each car and helped me to winnow out which me when I was looking at the used cars and offered his help. Michael knew the towing rating for each vehicle. I wasn't used to his laid back, friendly and informative style, so I was very happy I stopped by. I picked a sweet little Jeep SUV. The price was a deal. Michael double checked the tow rating of the car in the specs to be certain it had enough oomph. That sort of thoroughness is typical of every step in the Sander's process. The car had to be outfitted with some equipment, so I left it there for a few days. When I came back the car was perfect. Like new. Seriously clean. While I was there picking up the car I saw 3 boats on the lot. We got a screaming good deal on a 17 footer. We wanted a few things done on the boat so we left everything there. While it was there Tom tested the boat and car to make sure the weight of the boat wasn't too much for the car. Thoroughness, again. Then Tom met us at the marina and showed us everything about the boat. We went out to Hammock's Island and back, over to Swansboro and the river. A great day with a terrific new friend. Buying a car in the past has always been a terrible experience,loaded with stress and feelings of being "taken for more than a test drive" I had been looking around the triangle area for a Kia Sorento experience,loaded with stress and feelings of being "taken for more than a test drive" I had been looking around the triangle area for a Kia Sorento SX ,test drove several with Hertz car sales,Crossroads,Kia of Hendricks ,Kia of Raleigh and Auction Direct all of which had seemingly helpful sales people,until it came time for the negotiation process,if they even had the car that was advertised to begin with.After much research online we knew our approximate bottom line and all the above dealers either made no attempt to meet our offer or they went into sales overdrive trying to put me in a lesser vehicle.I happened across an add online from Sanders Ford for my exact dream car already priced right according to what Car Guru's and several other sites had suggested.My husband made a call to Sanders Ford and happened to get Marty MacFarland who went above and beyond even driving the car to a closer dealership to save us time.Needless to say I bought the car and am thrilled with it. After having our vehicle towed in for repair work we were told that the engine had to be replaced costing $$$. Well from the moment that we arrived Greg Dawson explained our options of either doing a costly repair $$$ which was not a option for me or look into a New or Used Vehicle. During this period the Sales Manager Tom Chandler came over and introduced himself and made feel comfortable knowing he would do what he can to help me during the unforeseen problem. Greg went right to work and offered several great vehicle options. After a test drive and a few short hours I had replaced my broken down vehicle oh which had 1 more payment left with another Ford Expedition and half the payment of the original one that had seized. During the whole process from start to finish the Staff at Sanders Ford Swansboro made my experience pleasant and easy.
