1 - I leased a vehicle from them 3 years ago and they sold me excess wear and tear insurance. After returning the vehicle I got a bill for excess wear and tear!! Called them and was rudely told that I need to fend for myslef, and although i bought the insurance from them they will not do anything to help. 2 -- GM financial -- they are charging me a disposition fee and say that can only be waived if I bought another car and financed it through GM financial. Word of advise -- go somewhere else! More

2018 Chevrolet Volt Back in February of 2018, my wife and I bought a new 2018 Chevrolet Volt from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. The purchasing nor service afterward Back in February of 2018, my wife and I bought a new 2018 Chevrolet Volt from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. The purchasing nor service afterwards was okay. But I have to give them a bad rating because my Volt did not come with the 110V charger like it was supposed to. Prior to us taking ownership, someone had stolen a bunch of these car chargers. They indicated that the chargers were on back order and they would be receiving them in a few weeks. Unfortunately, when I went back to the dealership, they would not provide me with a charger because on the sales invoice / purchase documentation did not indicate that the car was delivered without a charger and one would be provided at a future date. Prior to this, I had great experience at Simpson Buick GMC of Buena Park. My prior experience at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove was mediocre. It makes sense because Buick and GMC are more high end GM vehicles but Chevrolets is their low end brand. Even though this purchase was done over a year and a half ago, I should have posted this review on Yelp much sooner. My last words to Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove is "see ya!". I will never buy from them again. The first mistake they make is on them and they will never get a 2nd chance. More

Excellent Customer Service I was so impressed with my treatment at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. Yobani Graciano was very apologetic that the item I needed replaced was not I was so impressed with my treatment at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. Yobani Graciano was very apologetic that the item I needed replaced was not in stock. He suggested keeping the car at the dealership, but I needed it that day. He said the part would be in between 11:00 and 1:00 that day, but I chose to make another appointment for the next day. He said he would personally make sure the part was in the next morning. Yobani set up an appointment for me, filled out all the paperwork so I wouldn't have to wait, and was extremely courteous. The next morning I arrived for my appointment, and Fernando Trejo took care of me. The paperwork was ready, the item was in stock, and before very long my car was serviced and I was on my way. Fernando was very helpful and polite. He even had my car washed before he returned it to me. The cashier, Ursula Ramos, was extremely courteous. She even gave me a bouquet of flowers to thank me for servicing my car at their dealership. Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove will continue to be my service shop of choice. More

From 1st contact to walking out of finance our experience with Simpson Chevy Garden Grove was above and beyond what we expected! - We are a family tha From 1st contact to walking out of finance our experience with Simpson Chevy Garden Grove was above and beyond what we expected! - We are a family that has owned many many cars (20+) so we have had our fair share of dealership experiences and this was BY FAR the easiest/fastest/no hassle experience we have ever had (especially after having recently dealt with two other less than stellar dealerships...)! Jay Kim was helpful in finding just the right car for us and got us the best deal he could and we was helpful and responsive without trying to oversell or pressure us (our initial contact with him was via the internet and phone). When we finally made it into the dealership we thought for sure we would be able to "squeeze" a little more out of him...in the end we were not able to but thats only because he was upfront from the begin and offered up everything he could instead of just telling us whatever it would take to get is into the dealership. The excellent service didn't stop with Jay either. We also interacted with Eddie Sosa, Jason Arvidson & Jim Gillette and they didn't disappoint! Such a stark contrast from when we visited our "local" Chevy dealership which is such a bummer because with three small kids we are all about convenience. Even though Simpson Chevy Garden Grove is a small trek for us, it is well worth it in our book! We even purchased the maintenance package that requires us to return to (1 of 3) Simpson Chevy dealerships and we have no doubt that the service department will extend the same level of customer service. (On a side note we needed to break a $20 for the vending machine to get our kids a "treat" for being so well behaved while we signed our finance papers...no one had any small bills to break it so Jason simply gave us the couple bucks we needed - its the little things that count right?) We cannot recommend Jay & Simpson Chevy Garden Grove enough and won't hesitate to send our friends and family their way. Thank you Simpson Garden Grove! More
