I went at 9:30am for Express Service on my 2024 K5 and was told that service had been returned to appointment only. Thanks to Bobby(the car hop) I explained I lived 40miles away he intervened and spoke to was told that service had been returned to appointment only. I was very happy with the service they gave me an appointment. I bought the car in ahead of time and on the appointment assigned day they were able to diagnose my car and find out the problems even t appointment. Before making the purchase of the vehicle, I explained to the sales manager that customer service was even more important than the vehicle itself and yhe team walked me around the dealership to include Servi the sales manager that customer service was even more important than the vehicle itself and yhe team walked me around the dealership to include Service/Parts. Having my first repair at 8 months and only 6k miles (service axel lockers) was already disappointing enough, but the level of customer service all around was EXTREMELY disappointing to the point I told them if I had received financing through GMC, I would have left the vehicle there on the lot or went to trade it immediately just so I would not have to deal with the poor customer service or the lack of there of! And not to mention the Service/Parts facility can use a total remodel. I get why employees are sleeping in the corner at the service counter or why they aren’t motivated in providing excellent customer service. The work environment could have something to do with it! I will keep my GMC for now, but I will DEFINITELY not be using the Greenbrier location for my services and I certainly would not recommend to anyone either. I will drive the extra 15 miles to the VA Beach location to explore whether or not the poor customer service was just isolated to the Greenbrier location and if not, I will be trading my vehicle in and going to GMC’s competitor. As I mentioned, customer service and satisfaction is worth more to me than any make or model of the vehicle itself. More
