My rating is based on the experience I had with S preen Honda, I never had the opportunity to become a customer of theirs. I had set up an appointment with a internet sales representative to have my trade Honda, I never had the opportunity to become a customer of theirs. I had set up an appointment with a internet sales representative to have my trade in vehicle appraised, prior to driving to the dealer I called the sales rep to confirm my appointment. He advised me he was not going to be there, but to go ahead and go to the dealership for the appraisal. Once there I stated my business with one of Helpful Honda guys dressed in blue, and he told me to come back in two hours, very helpful and professional. I call back later during the day to speak to a manger named Tony, he basically did nothing to help me out did not seem to enthusiastic about gaining my business or really addressing the lack of professionalism by his employees. He did give me a trade in appraisal over the phone. Basically his attitude was to answer the issue at hand and brushing me off so he did not have to deal with me anymore, and did not even offer an apology for the earlier transgression. Needless to say I will not be doing business with Spreen Honda in Loma Linda, Ca and those Helpful Honda Guys commercial well you definitely will not be helped at Spreen. More

Spreen had a wide selection of cars available and had the car I wanted at a great price. Freddy Flores in Sales and Todd Hunsaker in Finance made the purchase of my 2010 Civic EX-L hassle free. They catered to my every need and had me out the door driving my new car in minimum time. It was definitely worth my time to drive 70 miles from Gardena, CA. Thank You Spreen Honda. More
I spoke with Tracy or Stacy Ibarra on the phone after getting a truecar quote she assured me she had in stock the color and options I was looking for.I pressed her asking her please don't have me drive 4 getting a truecar quote she assured me she had in stock the color and options I was looking for.I pressed her asking her please don't have me drive 40 miles for nothing she again assured me she had the exact color and options I want in stock .Classic bait and switch I drive all the way there and they only have the color I want with $5000 worth of extra bells and whistles.Total waste of time I will never consider doing business with this dealership. I had my car serviced last week at Spreen. Ive been taking my car there for years. And will contiune to go back. Not only do they have a brand new building but the people are great. I dealt with Kyle last time and eventhough we needed alot of work. He worked with getting us a rental and helped us with understanding the repairs. More
We were quite pleased with our experience with salesman Freddy Flores. He was prompt with emails and responsive by phone as well. He quoted us an incredible price and convinced us that there would be no catch or bait-and-switch when we arrived at the dealer. We drove 90+ miles to purchase the CRV and despite a little bit of haggling (to add on extras that we thought were unnecessary), we made it to the back room with finance specialist Andy Towns. This is where all the surprises occurred, right when our guards were down. First of all, we were told that there was a maximum that we could charge on the credit card, which was very low. We were not told of this beforehand and we have experiences with other dealers that have a much higher cap on credit card charges for the down payment. When we expressed our dismay, Andy had a "manager" (not entirely sure what his role/title is) named Kelly come in and talk to us and he blatantly lied and was extremely condescending and rude. Secondly, we were sold the "immobilizer" safety system for a ridiculous price once we got home and did our research. So we were totally ripped off after all that!! Charged more than double what other people paid. Plus we were told that this feature would give us a discounted price on car insurance which is actually not true because the "Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer" comes STANDARD with all CRVs so we would have had the discounted insurance rate already. Yes, the "immobilizer" system that we paid for, is additional security per Spreen Honda and per Andy Towns, but when I spoke to a representative from the Honda dealer directly, he clearly told me that Honda did not endorse this additional security system. Overall, we felt that the savings we thought we were getting from Spreen Honda did not actually pan out and we definitely wasted about 5 hours of our time. More
