We were in the process for several days, as we checked out various cars (including elsewhere), did research, did test drives, got financing at our credit union, and had the car we chose inspected at our trusted auto shop. At no time were Terry or Mark anything but relaxed, friendly, and helpful. We also really appreciated that Terry operates with the philosophy of a small-town "throwback" dealer, where they know that good word gets around and they value doing business with locals. Although Stohlman is a large dealer with many locations throughout the area, Stohlman Subaru of Herndon is more like a family car business where you feel good about being a customer. More

I have purchased many many cars in my adult life (10 and counting) and this is by far the BEST car buying experience EVER. My wife and I had other cars to test drive but given the incredible service we rece counting) and this is by far the BEST car buying experience EVER. We were treated like customers and NOT like prey. Next to buying a home, purchasing a car is the 2nd biggest purchase one makes. Most dealerships just don't understand this fact. Treat customers well and with respect and you will earn our business. My wife and I received the utmost respect and then some from Stohlman Subaru (Herndon location). If you are in market for a Subaru and you do not visit this dealership then you are crazy. If I ever buy another Subaru, it will definitely be from this dealership. The negotiations were done quickly and easily via email, in person, and in phone. We closed the deal over the phone and my car was detailed and waiting for me the next morning. They transferred the tags from my old vehicle, physically transferred them as well, and even took my golf clubs out of the old car and put them in the back of my new Forester. I highly recommend Stohlman for anyone looking for a Subaru. More
