From the moment we walked into Sunset Chevrolet we never felt pressured. Our Sales Representative, DJ Giefer, is a real keeper. In this day and age it is rare to find such a polite, friendly, out-going, knowledgeable, well dressed young man, who makes you feel totally at ease. Any questions we had, DJ had the answer for us. He went over everything in our new Cruze to ensure we were totally comfortable with it and set up the Bluetooth and helped with setting up On Star, before leaving the dealership. This young man is a definite asset to the dealership. After much research on the computer we ended our search at Sunset. The level of service we received, well, hard to put into words. I have purchased several new cars and I was blown away and the ease of the transaction. They handled everything over the internet or phone. When it was all said and done I arrived at Sunset with that, holy crap, attitude. Not wanting to spend all day dealing with finance and back and forth stuff. Boy was I surprised! We signed a few pieces of paper, ok 20 ish, Car was out front washed and ready to go. After a little schooling from Jason we were off and going. I went to Sunset Chevrolet to order a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE. I wanted the Camaro to have the same great bodylines the ZL1 has. After ordering the car, I noticed a salesperson that appeared to be the “go to guy”. Other sales representative’s always went to him for answers. I also gravitated to him for answers. He was extremely resourceful and I knew what I wanted this Camaro to look like. A long story short, Dave, Kevin from the Auto body Shop, Sunset Chevrolet Parts Department and I, with the blessing of management, got our head together and created a one of a kind “1LE”. We agreed on a Sunday. Then, Monday morning I get a call from a guy names Justin who then proceeds to tell me everything has changed. More money down, less for the trade and another FULL YEAR of payments. Horribly dishonest and bait and switch type tactics. I have left a message for the owner but doubt this will go anywhere. I was even told by Jason later on that Monday that "I have 3 other appointments for this vehicle willing to pay full retail"....so if they agree to sell you something, they will change it if someone else comes along with more money. MPG, and seating 7 are her two top needs. The car she bought has mechanical trouble, poor gas milage, my daughter has called, come in numberous time to requst repair, trade, or her old car retruned. She has no satification. She has been lied too multiple times. I will never choice to use or recomend this dealer again.
