My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
All of these reviews are true. I had my deposit held there! Tim was so rude and made false promises. He called me asking me on dates at all hours! The manager ORson was running around the showroom using horrible profanity. The finance manager was the only decent employee I came in contact with. I later brought my lease car in for an inspection, the lease girl said everything was ok, so did the manager. Later I get a call that I have around $1500 in damage from some other girl. They did this because my new car wasn't purchased there(because I got the run around in getting it!) and I went to Plaza, go to Plaza not here!! I later meet the lease girl again through a group of friends, she wound up losing her job over this and not tolerating the lack of profesionallyism in there. She was asked to offer customer's lap dances in exchange for car purchases!!!There were several other things she went through there relatively as bad but the place needs to be closed down!! They are just terrible people and should be selling cars at a salvage yard because they are all TRASH!!!!!

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I would only wish that the BMW Regional Manager would read these postings and remove them as an authorized dealership. I purchased a 530I from West County back in November. This has been one of the worst mistakes of my life. And to be honest I should have seen it coming. When I walked into the service department the equipment was and still is very outdated. Other BMW dealerships are extremly clean and upto date.

Tim was my saleman and I too had to put down a deposit to "hold" the car. I should have seen it coming.. When I asked Tim specific questions about the car he lied on almost every one. How long had the car been on the lot.. It just came in.. When I asked about the car having a Certified sticker on the windshield he stated that all of the cars get the sticker and the customer can have it certified it they want or save the extra $2000.00 I was told that this specif car had already been certifed and it would get the 2.9 finacing. Well I did get the 2.9 finacing but the car was far from being what I would call certified. When I spoke with the servcie department about certain iteams they stated that the car had two new tires put on it a few months earlier when the car had been certified. I asked if the oil had been even changed and it had not. I did get a "free" oil change from the deal.. but was not even offered a new cabin filter. I tell eveyone that I know that I love the car but want to sell it because I was lied to and it reminds me of how bad I got screwed. Oh and the wind noise from the car sitting all summer on the lot. That is finely tuned BWM noise....

Please someone shut down this terrible excuse for a dealership.

Sincely

Another unhappy West County customer.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I have been a victim of the famous deposit scam myself. Wish I would have found this site sooner. After getting scammed and doing more research about this dealer and its employees I was amazed. I found that the salesman I was scammed by (and its now obvious other were also) according to case net has a very shocking criminal record and should by no means have access to customers personal information. Please help me to pass on the reputation of this dealership. If you are at all thinking of purchasing from this dealer do some research first. It's very easy to see for yourself in about five minutes on the internet what kind of business they are running. One rating site even has a disclaimer that they found employees giving false rating on themselves.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I bought a used BMW from the Suntrup network and it came with a used car warranty. I decided to take it to the Suntrup BMW dealership for its scheduled maintenance. The service department said it needed a new radiator. I called the original Suntrup dealership and they said I was covered in this by the warranty. However when I went to pick up the car, West County BMW refused to honor it. Also, items were not checked on their service maintenance checklist for the type of service I requested and was charged for, which appear to not have been done. I was also charged for an expedited part which I had informed the service rep I did not need expedited. I noticed I was missing a piece of a part in the engine compartment that had been there before I brought the car in.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I'm so happy to find this website as it gives me an opportunity to vent. Reading the other reviews, I see that my experience was typical. I called inquiring about the availability of a new 328i last November. The sales person asks for some details, options, color and says that he is going to call around and let me know if a car of my description is available from another dealer. He calls the next day and says that he has found the car that I wanted, but I need to put $1000 down immediately to hold the car. I don't like to be pushed but he says no big deal, its fully refundable and the deposit is only to hold the car until I decide. I give him my credit card number. I had never been in the dealership.

Two weeks later, i call about the car. I'm told that its still in Germany and being manufactered as we speak. That the car will arrive in 6-8 weeks. I tell them that I don't want the car, that I want my deposit back. My sales person, Tim, tells me that I need to speak to the manager, I wait on hold for 30 minutes and hang up. I call back, ask to speak to Tim, they tell me that he is out. I call every day for a week, Tim is always out of the office. Finally, I ask to speak to a manager, he says that I need to deal with this with Tim. Tim is never there. I get in my car, drive to the dealership and ask to see Tim. Tim greets me like I'm his long lost friend. He tells me that he has a bad back and has been out of the office for a few weeks. (But noone in the office ever gives me an excuse, or any message that he is not in, I'm usually put on hold, and then told, he is not in). I tell him that I want my money back, that I don't want the car. He pleads with me that getting the money back is going to be a big hassle, that he never told me that the car was coming from another dealer, that it was always clear that he was going to have to order from the factory, that this is just a big misunderstanding. That the car is going to be here soon.

I decide to wait for the car. The car arrives and I love it. The price I got is a competitive one. But it took some hard negotiating and with me on a calculator checking all of their numbers. In the end, I'm happy to have bought the car, but am totally burned up because of what I know was completely dishonest behavior.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I brought my 2003 BMW 325 in for service for 4 specific things. (1) radio was getting poor reception, (2) seatbelt light, (airbag light) and (4) check control light. I had brought the car in 3 other times for the radio and 1 other time for the ckeck control light. When I checked in at 8:00 am, I explained what the problems were and received a loaner for the day. At no time did the rep mention that some of these problems may not be covered under warranty.

I received a call about 4:00 that afternoon and was told that the vehicle would be ready at 5:00. I arrived at 4:55 and was told that the paperwork was not ready yet and to have a seat. Around 5:25, I was ready to check out. I was told that I had a balance of $57.40. I questioned this amount and was told that a service tech would explain this to me. The cashier came back out and said that the airbag fuse WAS NOT covered under warranty and that I had a $50.00 deductible. I said that nothing was mentioned at the time of drop off and what other items are NOT covered under the warranty. She told me that this was the only item. HOW CONVENIENT for them. If I would have been told earlier that morning, I would have let the airbad light stay on but because my owners manual said to have my BMW center inspect the system immediately, I did. My complaint is if work is to be performed and that work IS NOT covered under warranty, I should have gotten a call to let me know and to see whether or not I wanted to have it repaired. I was home all day. The radio was covered and come to find out that it was a loose cable, the seatbelt light had a poor connection and the rear taillight housing had a poor connection.

Lastly, when I paid the balance due and received my car, I was told by the ported that they didnt have time to wash it but if I wanted to wait a little while longer, they would get right on it. In all the times I had service done on my vehicle, they never washed it.......So why start now.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I have had my car serviced with them several times and have had excellent service. The parts department is iffy at times. There is a asian man at the service department and he is the most friendly service representative and goes the extra yard to help you out. Will continue to go to Suntrup for service. Parts i would recommend Plaza.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I attempted to purchase a new 525i earlier this year. I put a $1,000 deposit down so that they could order the vehicle. I was told it would be a week to a week and a half. The car was supposedly in the pipeline. One week later I call to check the status and they tell me it will be an additional two weeks but give no reason. I start looking at 530's at their dealership first with no luck. Two weeks later and still no car. They tell me it should be anytime but have no definite date. I find a car in another state, drive there and purchase a 530 demo and love the car and the "other" dealership.

Meanwhile back at West County BMW, I call to tell them I purchased a car elsewhere. They still didn't have my car in (it's four weeks now) and they would not refund my deposit. I had to hire an attorney to get my deposit back and it took three months.

I spoke to Texanne and told her that because of this I will never take my car there for service or ever buy a car there. They did not seem to care. This is just bad business. Bottom line - never ever give them a deposit because if you change your mind they will not return it without a legal fight. I will never do business with them but you have to make up your own mind. It shouldn't be hard.

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
Do Not buy a car from them. DO NOT give them a "deposit". I was told numerous times by the sales associate that the deposit was refundable. I only had to put down the deposit to hold the color combination that I wanted. When my grandmother got sick and I was unable to purchase the car I was then informed that the deposit is non-refundable. I have had to stop payment on my credit card, spend money on an attorney to send them a threatening letter, and give up hours a day trying to make these people do what they said. I have also received numerous phone calls from other sales people there trying to pressure me into getting the financing through them. It has bordered on harrassment. I would never reccomend stepping into their showroom much less purchasing a car from the. If you like being lied to and jerked around.....THIS is the dealership for you!

My Review of Suntrup West County BMW:
I bought the car from them. They were extremely rude because I am younger than most customers. They were not knowledgable about the cars. They didn't take me seriously at all. Also, they promised to replace some of the parts on the car for me because it was a CPO, but when I asked them about it, they told me that they never said anything about parts. I also took it there for 1 service. Bad idea. They didn't seem to acknowledge that I was there and the quality of work was far below my standards. I would expect much better from any dealer, let alone a BMW dealer. Not recommended at all.
