The lack of honesty and integrity in the complaint is best exemplified by the falsehood about a loaner/rental car. The customer was provided a loaner cat at NO CHARGE on 12/14/17. The loaner vehicle was returned on 12/22/17. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE VEHICLE. The dealership was under no obligation to provide a loaner car. The vehicle was new and purchased at another dealership. Also there was no threat. Upon receiving a two star review we reviewed the customers' service with our service team and they could not identify any failure on our part. In fact, the service adviser Chris was dismayed at the review because he felt he went above and beyond to satisfy the customer. As is our policy, we called the customer to inquire about the failure and two star review so that we could improve our process as may be necessary. The customer refused and hung up the phone. At this point the dealership made the business decision and alerted the customer that we would not accept his vehicle for any future service. This was a statement of fact and not a threat. We also asked the customer to contact us to further review the experience and reconsider our position on any future service.

We apologize for any inconvenience in regard to this recent service experience. Our service advisor was instructed by the FCA/ Chrysler team that this repair would not be covered by warranty. Our advisor should have consulted with the service manager and explored the possibility of having the repair covered by warranty as an exception. This should have been done and we apologize for not taking the next step on behalf of the customer. We pride ourselves in typically taking all necessary steps for our customers but failed on this instance. We are the only dealership in Westchester County to have been recognized by FCA/ Chrysler for the Customer First award for 2017, this recognition is the result of exceptional sales and service experience.
