I live in the Philadelphia area but purchased my car in Northern NJ so I needed a dealership for service. I originally shopped for a car at their Doylestown location, and the service manager in Doylestown Northern NJ so I needed a dealership for service. I originally shopped for a car at their Doylestown location, and the service manager in Doylestown was nice enough to reach out about still coming there for service. Since it's the same group, I made the mistake of going to Willow Grove for service. I arrived in the garage, and a young girl came out to check me in. She gave me a ticket, told me it would be 90 minutes and told me to sit down in the waiting room. After 90 minutes, I checked in at the desk. They looked up my car and looked confused. I pulled out my number, and they looked at me like "oh". I then asked, please don't tell me no one worked on my car because I didn't turn in this number? They said that was the case, and I explained what happened and no one cared. There was no offer of a loaner, or offer to quickly work on my car. I said I had to leave, and they asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said this was unbelievable and they pretty much looked at me like too bad for you. They somehow quickly found my car when I wanted to leave. The manager of course was on vacation. I left a voice mail for the manager who never returned my call until he was instructed to by his GM. When he called two weeks later, he said that he has worked with the girl for years, and that's not what she would have said. Apparently I am deaf now. There was a lip service I am being forced to apologize in there somewhere, but you can imagine how genuine it was. I expect a higher level of service from Lexus. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. More

If you go to Thompson Lexus, ask for Gary. I had spent all of last weekend looking for a used, reliable car with low millage. I had done a decent amount of research and knew what I wanted to spend. Prior to going to Thompson Lexus, I had been to so many dealerships. As a young female, I felt that most car salesmen had been extremely dismissive and condescending. Gary was a breath of fresh air. He was honest and went back to his manager multiple times to get me the best price the dealer could offer. Gary did not pressure me at all, especially when the car was a little more than I had wanted to spend. He even encouraged me to leave and think on it, since he wanted me to be 100% happy with the purchase. He didn't try to shmooze me at all. I ultimately did buy the car, after doing more research it was a fair price on a great used 2018 Toyota Rav4. Gary made sure I was all set to go, leaving the lot with a full tank of gas and newly detailed car. All the sales people seemed nice, but I am glad that Gary helped me with my first car purchase. 1.My wife and I were were trading in an 2010 SLT GMC Acadia with over 130miles on it. I did not get the the 4K trade in I was expecting after doing multiple researches. I was told by Gary the salesman, that they use "Kelly Blue Book" value which KKB prices cars low to begin with. The car was worth at least 4K (minimum) trade in value. I was upset they were not willing to give me at least another 500 for my trade. They have me 3500 which was ok. 2. My wife and I fell in love with a newer/used GMC Acadia fresh on the lot. It had 23K miles for a 2017, which was priced competitively. I drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to get their. The sales person "Gary" was a typically salesman. We test drove the car and attempted to work a deal with "Gary" and the manager. They were not willing to give us more for our trade in as mentioned above. They were able to drop 500 off the car on the lot. Long story short, we put down a down payment to secure the car later that night over the phone, which means I had to drive back to the lot over the weekend to sign the final paperwork. Which is when things got very messy. 3. When I arrived that weekend with my old car title in hand to get rid of that car and into the new car, Gary slammed me for not bringing my wife because she had to be their to sign off on the final paperwork. He did not attempt to talk with a manager he continued to say your wife has to be here & I took it as he wanted me to leave the lot and drive back home (another 1 hr and 20 minutes). I refused and went straight to a manger. The manager was able to put everything in my name (I have great credit scores), but the level of disrespect, lack of communicate, and horrible customer service from Gary, I would request a different salesman if you ever set foot on this property. Find someone who wants to treat you with respect and dignitary. When you spend your own hardworking money and you know the salesman is getting a certain percent of your money, you expect to be treated fairly. 4. I was also told by one of the managers that most of their clients are "older". So if you are younger and looking for a used car on their lot I get the feeling they do not know how to handle the younger generation. I was prepared from the start and ready to negotiate and was very close to walking away from the lot this weekend. 5. In the end, we received the car for a decent price, it would have been nice to receive more off the car after dealing with all of this mess, I didn't get what I wanted for a trade in, also, if this website gave negative numbers for customer service it would have been at least negative 4 or 5. Be weary if your visiting this lot. More
