Jonathan and the general manager Cary worked hard to get me a price I was comfortable paying and beat Freehold Toyota's "best" price! Jonathan was honest and did not pressure me at all. After already being a returning customer with my wife's car in 2012, we were once again beyond satisfied! Needless to say, we will be back for our next car. More

From the moment I met Danny he did everything he could to understand my situation and help me find a vehicle that would fit my needs. Knowing I will be transferring to a distant college in a couple years, he recommended I leased a car. Danny clearly and understandably explained why leasing would be my best option. Being I only need a car for the next couple years, I can now drive a brand new car and save a lot of money all at once. Danny’s help provided me a win-win situation that I couldn't be happier over. All other employees of Toyota Scion World of Lakewood also showed just as much friendliness as Danny did. They were patient when I needed to take a couple days to consider my options, and they were very cooperative when it came to financing. BEST CAR-BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! My husband and I have driven, owned and leased Toyotas for over 30 years - so when we walked into Toyota World of Lakewood, we didn't need to be sold My husband and I have driven, owned and leased Toyotas for over 30 years - so when we walked into Toyota World of Lakewood, we didn't need to be sold on a car. We were nearing the end of our 2011 RAV-4 lease, and knew we would be leasing a 2014 RAV-4. It was just a matter of WHERE, WHEN, and WHO we would be leasing it from. We were fortunate to walk in to the dealership at the moment that Samuel Johnson (Sales & Leasing Consultant) was free. This fine young man greeted us, sat us down, and talked with us. Yes, WITH us - not AT us. He first LISTENED to us, gaining an understanding of what we were about, what our needs/wants were, and what we were looking for in a lease. We let him know that we weren't interested in playing games, or waiting while he went back and forth to the Manager in the back of the showroom (like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain, as we have seen in so many other dealerships). Sam understood this and actually respected and agreed with us, and so we got right down to what we could and could not live with, and only then did he go to consult with the manager (just ONCE!!). Well - as it turns out, this manager (Cary Rose) is NOT a behind-the-curtain Wizard of Oz, but an up-front Wizard, who came right out to speak with us, and in no time at all, we all came to an agreement and the deal was done! Unbelievable! We even had a few laughs! The experience was actually ENJOYABLE, believe it or not (I have NEVER said that about negotiating a deal!) - thanks primarily to Sam, who was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, straightforward, and honest, throughout the entire process. SO much so, that we actually went back a few days later to buy a USED vehicle for our daughter - again working with Sam. From our first meeting with him all the way to picking up the plates - for both cars - Sam was our contact person, and he followed through on every single thing that he said he would do. He came across as a very sincere person from the start, and his ACTIONS later confirmed that appearance. In short, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Go and deal, and deal with Sam! You won't regret it. More
