My wife and I also attended a dinner, hosted by David Kelley, Gen. Mgr., where we met all of the department heads. We received a good tradein price and a fair price on our new car. The staff is friendly,and have product knowledge. The service department has always taken care of me in a timely manner. Without question I would rate my overall experience - #5...GREAT!!!!! More

I was originally interested in a 2010 Prius Red/ with Solar Roof options and when we met David Park he told us that it was nearly impossible to get one in State of Texas. So when we decided to leave; he promised to show us the " TOYOTA HYBRID SYSTEM" in 15 mins since I asked him so much questions about the Hybrid system. He kept it simple and clear that Toyota was the BEST in Hybrid Technology. Anyhow, he showed us the 2009 Red Camry Hybrid and gave us a excellent deal that we couldnt refuse so I bought it. this dealership needs new building and showroom floor but salesman was the BEST! woodruff More

Beware of employees of Toyota of Dallas, they may try to fool you with all sort of mathematical complications. And can sell you the car at very high price. My experience was very bad, they kept on press fool you with all sort of mathematical complications. And can sell you the car at very high price. My experience was very bad, they kept on pressurizing me to buy a not so good car at very high rate. When I disagreed to the price, they tried to confuse me. When I was about to sign the deal, I saw the price to be $1000.00 more than what we had agreed. Here is the excuse they gave. "We agreed on the price of $11,500" and when i got papers for signing the price was "$12,500". They said "Since I was doing down payment of $1000,its just $11,500 that I am financing". When I say $11,500 it includes the down payment. I had an interaction with the 3 agents over there. All of them seems to be fraudulent and have an aim of selling the bad cars at high prices. More

Detailed review below: My wife and I were looking to buy a Toyota Corolla with a VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) option. We called Toyota of Dallas, and were told by the manager, Justin West, that he had a number of Toyota Corollas with VSC option. We showed up at the dealership and Justin assigned a salesperson , Chris Malik, to us. Chris took us out to the new car lot. When we got there, I reminded him that we are only interested in Corollas with a VSC option. He had no clue what VSC was. He tried to pass off Brake Assist as VSC. When I corrected him, he said that Corollas do not come with VSC (even as an option). I had to correct him again ! In short, Chris knew zero about the cars he was trying to sell. Now to the manager. When we decided to leave (because they did not have any vehicle with VSC ! which is what we had asked for on the phone in the first place ), Justin West looked very pissed and said "Thank you for wasting my time". Where this dealership lacks the fancy showroom they make up with pricing and really great customer service. We felt so comfortable and like they really wanted our business. I bought a used car and traded my Corolla. I was looking for a larger vehicle and at the same time keep my payments the same or less. I am not new to "the game" of car-buying but once again I was suckered i for a larger vehicle and at the same time keep my payments the same or less. I was mostly to blame for this poor buying choice but the dealership pushed me mightily also. After realizing my mistake shortly thereafter, I asked the dealership for any type of consideration that they might give me toward another trade. I was thinking that maybe I could get back into a used Corolla or a new Corolla or something similar and they could help me with my "upside-down" trouble, accented by this most recent purchase at their dealership; however, they were definitely not interested. I could just as well have been a stranger, someone who had never stepped foot on their lot. The "game" restarted, on their conditions, with the first words(on the 2nd buy attempt) from the salesman, "You know you're upside-down in this vehicle?" This was from the original salesman, the one that pushed so much to get me to trade. More

In 2004, we were looking for a new Toyota Sienna. Then we visited Freeman Toyota in Hurst. There, we were quoted a price higher than list, and told "That's the best we can do, period." The only reason we ended up at Toyota of Dallas was because they had on their lot, the only vehicle in the metroplex with a tow package. Since no one at ANY dealership could confidently tell up what was included in the tow package, we wanted to see it for ourselves. With the exception of the snakes that "finalize the financial end of the deal", everyone, especially our salesman, Micheal Surey, was very pleasant to deal with. We had no intention of buying a car from Toyota of Dallas. They definitely won our business. More

Pulled into the parking lot and about 5 salesmens started surrounding my car and tapping my windows. Withing a few seconds we were already filling out the "4-box" paper that gives him all the info he wants about what kind of car and all that. After a long period of waiting, we go out to look at a new 4Runner and the cheapest one they had on the lot was 30,000. When we said we didn't like it, he says "It's only 30,000 dollars!" We gave him a funny look and smiled and said no thanks and left. Only $30,000?....yeah good for it. Bye bye. More

Located right at the merge of 635 (LBJ) and 35E, this is a heavy traffic area that brings in a mixture of old money from the University/Highland Park area and lower and middle-income customers from the immediately surrounding neighborhoods.<br><br>The Dealer's Approach and In-Your-Face personna tends to lean towards catering to the lower and middle-income customers. <br><br>Ever been to New York City? Stopped at a light and had people running up to wash your windows with greasy rags? If so, you'll definitely have flashbacks when you pull in the lot. It's as if your car is a scrap of bread on a beach full of seagulls. Subtlety is not the game here. <br><br>You get hard-selled from the moment you step out of your car and "turned over" (the process of having wave after wave of "Managers" try to convince you to buy...right NOW!) many, many times. <br><br>The "Negotiation Area" is an open floor with seemingly no real areas of privacy. This is designed this way so that any reservations, lack of knowledge, or misgivings are put right out there in the open for all to hear. Do you really want to say No when someone practically yells "Can't you afford this?" It's designed with just this in mind.<br><br>Product Knowledge (even basic industry knowledge) is also not something you'll find alot of -- at least that was our experience on the Pre-Owned Side. And, *every* car is a GREAT DEAL! ....a STEAL!..and LIKE NEW! despite the obvious wear, Inflated Asking Price, and poor appearances.<br><br>Beware here as well the "How Much Do You Want to Spend?" line. You'll never win by answering the question.<br><br>In short...unless you just HAVE to buy a car or truck here, my advice is stay far, far away. More
