My Review of Toyota of Gastonia:
The dealership had an anoucment in the radio saying that the will payoff the amount you owed in the car, if a deal was reached. Once i was there and started the paper work after 2 hours the sales rep came and said that the couldn't fine a bank that would finance the loan that they would have to speak wit hthe banks personally on moanday. It was odd because the car was only 16,767. But ok, today monday 17, 2008, i called and spoke with the finance guys and said that suntrus was welling to work with the number but i needed to know the correct amount, so i was told almost 27,000. so when i asked about the advertisment in the radio, he said that it mention that they will pay for the car but the amount would be transfer to your loan, and no where in the advertisment this clause was mention. It is not only missleading, but also downlow sneaky and unethical practice. I fell that in today economy crisis, this type of businees dealing should be punish to the fullest.

My Review of Toyota of Gastonia:
The atmosphere was great and they showed they cared for you a great deal. Even though we were promise things by others not David things were great. The final paperwork signer promise us gas for having to come back but that didn't happen. We were told we should have gotten it in writing. But where I come from your word is gold. I say if you make promises keep them. That's the reason for the 3. Oh my goodness Teresa the reception is wonderful. Keep up the good work Teresa. She is a keeper.. Thanks

My Review of Toyota of Gastonia:
While not as extravagant as the superb service offered by my Lexus dealer, Toyota of Gastonia offers an excellent service experience. Service personnel are friendly and accommodating and appear to appreciate the customer's business. There is some effort to "sell" service, but it is not unduly high pressure or for silly services, and if you say "no" they do not argue. Service is carried out correctly and promptly, and service writers communicate well. I recently took my '97 4Runner in on a Saturday for a minor repair to the trailer hitch wiring harness. I only had 2 hours to spare, and they were very busy, but they "worked me in" as a longtime customer and the car was ready in less than an hour. On another recent occassion, I had this vehicle in for mostly routine service, and they gave me a loaner car even though my 4Runner has 155K miles on it and I didn't buy it there. (Only problem was that they had run out of Toyotas so they gave me a Suzuki Aerio (!) they got from Enterprise Car Rental.) Within the limitations imposed by not being a prestige marque like Lexus or Mercedes, I highly recommend Toyota of Gastonia. Good on sales too.
