I bought a Rava4 2008 so I have been in for regular service for my car, and the people are always happy to great me with a smile and address my concerns. I stopped by Monday at 5:50 and was greeted with a smile, I was there to get my vanity light looked at and they got right on it to replace the bulb, and I was on my way! GREAT SERVICE EVERY TIME!! I have been very happy with this dealership because of Jenny. She always takes time to explain what could be done and then what needs to be done. My wife Mai Nguyen and I Minh Pham came into Oregon's Toyota of Gladstone dealership on a mission to see if we could get out of our lease on our 2007 Toyota Tundra. We knew Duy Dang from our previous vis Toyota of Gladstone dealership on a mission to see if we could get out of our lease on our 2007 Toyota Tundra. We knew Duy Dang from our previous visit whom he leased us this 2007 Tundra to us. Our lease was ending plus we had exceeded the milage on the lease offer. Going into the dealership not knowing what was going to happen, Duy took the time to go through and give us all our options. At first it didn't look good because if we were to keep the truck and return it at the end of the lease we would have had to pay $4,000. One of our other options was to see if we could work out a deal on leasing a new Tundra. We then looked for a truck that had to meet our needs, but they did not have the one we wanted at his dealership. Duy then looke up what we wanted in the computer and found our match at another dealership. In the end he was able to work out a deal with the other dealship and bring the truck we wanted over to his place. Duy was able to put together an option and worked with his manager and approached us with a deal that we couldn't refuse. Today my wife and I are proud owners of a 2010 Toyota Tundra Crew Max. The car buying experience was very pleasant and my wife and I will definately come back again in the future. And recommend our family members. More
Over the years of buying several different makes of vehicles from several different dealerships, I was, frankly, dreading having to buy any car from any dealer. We had to purchase a vehicle though and vehicles from several different dealerships, I was, frankly, dreading having to buy any car from any dealer. We had to purchase a vehicle though and Gladstone Preowned came highly recommended. It was with trepidation that I accompanied my husband to the dealership yesterday but we trusted the person who recommended you very much. It's my great pleasure to say, this was the nicest, no-nonsense, straightforward and pleasurable car purchase we've ever made! There was none of the 'usual' salesman routine. In fact, it's clear Gladstone does not consider hard sales usual in any way. We were treated with respect and never pushed at. We looked at a 2000 Toyota Sienna. We were allowed to drive the vehicle as far as we wanted, where we wanted and there was no sales pitch during the drive. The van handled beautifully. We'd done quite a bit of investigation prior to going to Gladstone Preowned and had a good idea of what we were looking for before arriving. Mohamed and Josh met our every need and were genuinely glad to do so. We bought the van and the purchase was not stressful whatsoever. When we arrived home we had a call from our daughter who needed a vehicle so I called Josh and made arrangements to go back today. We let him know what she was in the market for and he had three in mind before we arrived. Mohamed was our sales person once more, much to our delight. We test drove three models then to make a final choice we drove two of them a second time. Once again we had a remarkable experience. No pushing, none of what we've dealt with in the past in regards to the salesman patter. It just does not exist at this dealership. After deciding on the car, Josh helped her get set up with car insurance and the insurance agent even came to the dealership to take care of the paperwork. For both car purchases we dealt with Jamshid in the financial department. He too was straight-forward and no-nonsense, taking care of us just as Josh and Mohamed had done, totally delightful to work with. We are extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and respect that everyone at Gladstone showed us during these two transactions. Gladstone Preowned showed me that buying a car does not have to be something to dread and in fact can be (and was) a very enjoyable experience. As soon as the car I currently drive is paid off this year, I'm headed back to see Josh and Mohamed to replace it. Thank you, Josh and Mohamed, for changing my mind about car salesmen and dealerships. I now have one I can trust and recommend with no hesitation whatsoever. Yesterday I really did not want to do the whole "car thing" but you both made the event something so drastically different from past experiences that when I knew we were coming back today, I was actually excited to do so. My daughter commented on the treatment she received from you as well and said she'd be back to you specifically to buy her next car too. Thank you for giving us a place we can consider a dealership for our entire family. We can't give you a higher accolade than that and you earned it fair and square. After 45 years of buying cars, these guys finally made the process simple and efficient. I came to the dealer through the web, and was sent directly to one salesperson. Other dealers, similarly contacted, developed into a food fight of various salespeople all contacting me at once (obvously a dealer to avoid since the salesperson, not the customer, was the focus). I knew what I wanted so the search became one of availablity/price. All the dealers quoted the same percentage discount on price, and Gladstone had the only matching vehicle on the West Coast, so we made the deal. Jon Stolz was patient, competent and straightforward. His goal was to keep me happy and not push. This was very refreshingly different from previous purchases, and it made me comfortable with the salesman and the dealer. The F&I fellow sold me the extended vehicle coverage, but after reading the terms and conditions, I cancelled it (without any hassle from the dealer). The facillity was clean and well organized, and the staff very social, which suggested they liked their jobs and the organization. All in all, a positive experience and a professional organization. I got the exact car that I wanted with the extra equipment added that I wanted. The transaction was very easy and it was completed quickly. I am very happy with the FJ. I was looking for the right equipment and they pointed me in the right direction with the off road package. Everyone there was very helpful. Jon did a great and so did the rest of the staff. I was most impressed when my new car was on the showroom floor when I was done signing the papers and everyone was working on wiping it down. I was real impressed. More

I worked with Seth initially through email, discussing what terms I was looking for and what kind of car I wanted. First, I found him extremely responsive -- no email "auto responses" common from other non-net savvy dealerships. It was a direct series of emails, quick and responsive to every question. He was professional, honest and to the point. No pressure, just information. We agreed on price. I came to the lot and met Seth. Again, not anything like the stereotypical salesman. Patient -- even encouraged a car with less options since he knew I was cost-sensitive though I stuck with the LE version (OK, maybe I do like the power seats after all). There was no up-selling (obviously the business manager was going to discuss extended warranties but with no pressure applied and I was offered chip protection, etc.). The deal we struck was exactly what we agreed to. We had to work on the trade-in but that was expected beforehand -- I had a 15 year old beater that had been in a side-door accident, so I knew we'd have to work on it. I got the mandatory "visit to the manager" about the trade-in (not the agreed to price of the auto), but Seth came out several times to apologize for the wait and explain what was going on and I was extremely satisfied with the final deal. I'm a business owner and no stranger to sales myself and I must say that my experience with Seth and others was very positive. I believe in honesty, being straight forward and keeping one's word in a business negotiation. And Seth came through with flying colors. I got the tour of the entire business and I must say they had the cleanest repair shop I've ever seen. Best experience I ever had buying a new car. More
