Dariusz was friendly and didn't put out a pushy salesman vibe. I walked in pretty much planning to buy the car that I ended up with and was satisfied with the overall experience (and I love my new car!) vibe. The people at this dealership are extremely nice and not pushy at all. If there was ever a moment I was standing around, someone would come by and make sure I was being helped. Super friendly vibe. The o pushy at all. If there was ever a moment I was standing around, someone would come by and make sure I was being helped. Super friendly vibe. The only thing is that the used car I bought, one of the keys had a dead battery, and so I had to replace that key battery myself after I bought it. I wish they had noticed that because I was freaking out at first that the battery was broken. (It wasn't.) I also traded in my old vehicle and it was my first trade-in, so I didn't know to get my old city sticker off of it so I didn't have to pay for a whole new one for the car I bought. But they said they would take it off and mail it to me which is nice. I did end up buying the car on the higher end of my price range. I had originally emailed them about two cars, and the older/cheaper one was never even mentioned in my conversations with them, only the more expensive one that I actually ended up buying. I didn't really mind because I had mentally decided I wanted the more expensive one anyways before I even walked in there. I'm happy with my purchase and decision, but I'm curious why they didn't discuss both options that I had talked about wanting to test drive. They were pretty different in terms of features and cost. Maybe it's because I told them my main goal was to have decent resale value in a couple of years. Braden was really knowledgeable and really nice. Mark helped me make an informed decision about purchasing a warranty. I'm not really a fussy buyer who tries to negotiate or anything so unsure what that process would be like here. Overall the process didn't take too long and it was pretty painless. I'd probably buy from them again if I could have Braden as my sales rep again. More

They had great service and were friendly. I didn't feel like I was pressured or like a nascence to them as we looked for a vehicle. I love my new car as well. like I was pressured or like a nascence to them as we looked for a vehicle. I love my new car as well. More

I like going to the car dealership as much as I like going to the dentist. I will avoid it as long as I have to. Preferably forever. I absolutely had to come in to purchase a car. And that’s where I met going to the dentist. I will avoid it as long as I have to. Preferably forever. I absolutely had to come in to purchase a car. And that’s where I met Chris Smith. This is where my love for Volkswagen began. Unlike most car salesmen, Chris has the most amount of patience than anyone I’ve met in this industry. He’s so kind, caring, in-tuned with what I was looking for, understanding and helpful. You can tell he just wants a car to fit. I never once felt pushed. I bought my car a few weeks later and had to come back to the same person because of how much I felt I trusted Chris. I was right. I’m such a happy gal driving home with my VW Taos. I loved my experience and I wish for every new car buyer to have such a smooth, happy experience making their big purchase. Thank you again Chris. And their GM Matt. I couldn’t be more grateful 🥰🥰 More
If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with a check engine light and they told me after 24 hours to check what the light was for (they didn't do any actual inspection and still charged me $190 to check engine light and they told me after 24 hours to check what the light was for (they didn't do any actual inspection and still charged me $190 to read the check engine light) that I needed $800 worth of fluids and $1500 for a cracked charcoal canister for the EVAP system. I had just gotten this repaired and they told me the part would not be under warranty, the vehicle was not safe to drive, and if I didn't want to put the money into the car I should just sell it to them. I took it to the shop where I originally got the EVAP system fixed and they did a full inspection and found that the issue was I was missing a rubber ring in my gas cap. It was $37.... The VW of Downtown Chicago tried to charge my $2500 and convince me my car was undrivable when all I needed was a rubber ring. The fact that they went out of their way to try to get me to sell them my car, make me think it was a safety matter, and lied to me about the warranty is absolutely manipulative and unacceptable. I would never recommend anyone go there. More
