We have had nothing but bad experiences with this dealership's service department. First, they have been rude and inappropriate/unprofessional. But beyond that, they are just BAD. Twice we have driven in for a service with a working radio and TWICE driven out with one not working. Both times, they have claimed that it absolutely could not be their fault, and so we were left buying a new radio--for $1000 each time.
Our newest problem is that our turbo in our engine is now ruined after they did not refill our oil at an oil change. We spoke to the service manager and he offered us a $200 credit that we aren't even going to use--for fear that we will have a new problem after leaving. (He has been the only helpful person there)
DO NOT USE THEM. We found two very good independent shops that we are now using and can't stress enough how much you should NOT EVER go to the VW dealership.

Gregg made my family's car buying experience as low-stress and as customer-friendly as possible. We never felt pressure, had all our questions answered and absolutely love the car we bought. We never felt like we were being sold to.

My husband and I live in Nashville Tennessee and we highly recommend Mr. Green at BMW/VW of Gainesville. We were in a tight spot with our old car and being out of state makes things difficult. Mr. Green knew exactly what we needed and made it happen for us! He will jump through any obstacle for any client.

As usual, I had a very pleasant experience when I brought my 2010 Jetta in to have a part replaced in my A/C. I started hear a low whistling noi on Monday afternoon so I called VW Service and told them the problem. I also mentioned I was in the area and Richard told me to come right over so he can take a look and diagnose the problem. Mind you, service was closing in about 20 minutes.

The part was ordered Monday afternoon and I brought the car in Wednesday late morning. The whole staff as friendly and provided me with a loaner car for the afternoon. My car was ready about 4 hours later and now is back to being perfect!

I purchased a new vehicle from this dealer on Saturday and I must say it was the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. Everybody was very kind and friendly and there was absolutely no pressure! I basically told them what I wanted and where I needed my payment to be and they made it happen. They treat you like you are a special customer and they really appreciate your business. I have already told everybody I know that until Saturday I never had a desire to own a VW ( no particular reason) but as of Saturday I became a lifetime VW customer! Besides the awesome dealership, they sell an awesome product too.

Came in for a minor issue. Always a good experiance with VW of Gainesville. Top notch service. They always value my time and get what needs to be done quickly. Richard Clay is always on hand to describe any issues in detail so there are no questions about the work being done. I'd say VW service is a big part of the quality of owning a VW !

Super friendly & helpful! Went out of the way to make sure I had a good experience. I moved away for a few years and had to take my car to another VW dealership and they didn't treat me or my car as nicely as the lovely people in Gainesville did!

I had a great experience at VW of Gainesville. Stacy took care of me and handled all of my questions and concerns. They worked quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. When I picked up my car, it was washed and Stacy even gave me some delicious chocolate covered potatoe chips. I loved that they went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. I will definitely be back if I have anymore problems with my Jetta.
