I was very impressed with the whole process at Wellesley Toyota. My wife had bought a car from them and was very happy, so I thought I'd try them myself. I took out this Red Toyota Corolla 2009! When I called for the price on the phone I was told up front that it was 1000.00 less than on the website!!!! I met the finanace guy and told him I needed to think about it...we did some preliminary paper work and there was NO hard sell! I said I had to think about it! They kindly supplied a convertible car and driver to the Council on Aging for our part in the annual Town of Wellesley Veteran's Parade, Sunday, May 23, 2010. Their lovely driver came wearing a red Toyota shirt (appropriate for the red, white and blue theme of the parade) and she was equally helpful, kind and competent. A grandmother and her two teen-aged grand children rode in the car and everyone was thrilled to be in such a spiffy, white, Toyota convertible. It was a pleasure to deal with them and there were many conversations about this over time. Each and every time we were greeted cordially and competently. All of these experiences lead me to give Toyota of Welleley an excellent rating and recommendaation. Toyota sees itself as a part of the Wellesley community and contributes to it. I found my pre-owned Toyota Tundra through an internet search. There are several dealerships much closer to my home, but Wellesley Toyota had the inventory that interested me, with more than one Tundra av search. The truck I ended up purchasing was two years old, but with only 15K miles, and in "new" condition. I met with Jason Crede to look at several trucks, he was knowledgeable about all the features of the truck and explained to me without pressure how the dealership acquires and prices used vehicles. I test drove both a Tundra as well as a Tacoma that I expressed interest in driving. Rather than pressuring me for a sale Jason stepped back and let me decide which truck I wanted to purchase. I agonized over the decision: the Tundra or the Tacoma. Ultimately, the decision always came down to one fact: I preferred the features and the price of the Tundra to the Tacoma even though I knew the Tacoma was more practical. I also have now learned that if I drive the Tundra conservatively, I will get reasonable gas mileage (~19 mpg). I have owned a Toyota truck since 1986 and do not foresee the need to purchase from any other manufacturer. Because of my experience purchasing this truck with this dealership, I now understand why our family friend drives out from Cambridge to do business with Wellesley Toyota. It was a pleasure doing business with a company where the customer comes first. More
