Super rude and unfriendly experience. Everyone looked miserable from the staff to the customers, not a smile or friendly face in sight. No one greeted us at the reception desk. Had to chase down a random staffer to get acknowledge that we even entered the premises. May go as far as to say it was an Invisible Man experience (the book by Ralph Ellison, not the movie, if you know you know), but definitely got a “Get Out” feeling. First time ever visiting a car dealership that didn’t want to sell a car to a paying customer. Basically, the salesman Mark initially refused to grant a pre scheduled test drive, claiming that he didn’t want to put miles on the vehicle, unless we were paying for it in cash only. This happened within seconds of us sitting down and he went on to make a bunch of uncomfortable utterances about it being an very affluent area and people in general not having that kind of money sitting in the bank. Even after entertaining all of his unusual terms and conditions he still came up with weird and less than truthful excuses not to close the deal. Perhaps the car sold before we got there, perhaps he didn’t want to do business with an out of state buyer or perhaps assumptions were made about who we were and what we had as soon as we walked in. Who knows?? But it was a terrible experience and a colossal waste of time. Felt icky, like their inventory was reserved for a “specific group” of people. I would avoid spending your money or time at this place. Very disappointing even with the bar already set low for car sales in general. Very awkward. More

Kudos to Marcus squared, Mason and DeOliveira. There was no hard sell. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy new or used. However, when I saw the monthly payment for a new Rav4, used was my only way There was no hard sell. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy new or used. However, when I saw the monthly payment for a new Rav4, used was my only way to go. When I told Marcus Mason, he was more than happy to show me used Rav4s. It only took me 8 days to decide on my new to me car. These 2 guys worked hand in hand to make sure I was going to be thrilled with my new car. Now to Matt Houligan (his real last name is Houlihan) but he is quite the character. He put together a few different financial profiles for me so I could make a decision on what I wanted for a monthly payment. He got me a decent interest rate and got the financing put together in about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend Wellesley Toyota. Great customer service, no hard sell and got me in my new car in just over a week. Thank you guys!! Great job!! More

Purchased a Highlander Hybrid because we're having a baby; dealer insisted they couldn't go below $3k over MSRP. Felt kinda bullied and was pretty disappointed in their tactics. I found out later that there are other nearby Toyota dealers that ONLY sell at MSRP and I would definitely not recommend Wellesley as a first option. More
