We decided to purchase a new 2011 Honda Pilot, after looking at prices in Frank Leta in O'fallon and Ed Napleton in St. Peters we decided to drive the extra distance to West County Honda. Not only had w looking at prices in Frank Leta in O'fallon and Ed Napleton in St. Peters we decided to drive the extra distance to West County Honda. Not only had we saved thousands in the vehicle price but we also received and outstanding service from our sales person (Mr.Mike knollhoff) and the store management. Independently of the extra distance we need to drive to get to this dealer, for any future vehicle purchase we now know where to go for friendly service and great customer care. I will certainly recommend West County Honda to all my friends and family. More
Sales manager is a lied over and over again every time we caught him in a lie, he back peddled and blamed someone else. We will buy else where because his lies never stopped. I just purchased a 2012 Civic LX from this dealership and was extremely pleased with the service. Aaron was absolutely wonderful. While I was waiting for my car to come in (I only had to wait about a week was extremely pleased with the service. Aaron was absolutely wonderful. While I was waiting for my car to come in (I only had to wait about a week before they received their shipment) Aaron was great about keeping me updated. He not only let me know when my car would arrive as soon as he knew, but promptly called me to tell me it had arrived. He even called me after I had taken my car home to make sure I was happy with it. He was extremely pleasant to work with and very helpful. He definitely made me feel comfortable as I bought my first brand new car. I would absolutely go to West county Honda again and I would most certainly recommend Aaron to anyone interested in buying a Honda. My experience was great. More
This was going to be an internet buy. Working with Pebbis was easy and clear. Price was quoted quickly. I had one addition I was asking for - on a new CR-V to which she said: Sales manager says - su Pebbis was easy and clear. Price was quoted quickly. I had one addition I was asking for - on a new CR-V to which she said: Sales manager says - sure, come on in and we'll work with you. When arriving, the salesman, Mike Knollhoff did a good job explaining the features of the car. I explicitly asked: "Anything required or added to the price quoted on the internet." and was told "No, we don't do that anymore" by Mike Knollhoff. Agreed to move forward on a deal (we literally were waiting to write a check to get this done); however Bill Double arrived (Sales Manager) and added a $695 "Auto Butler" service which we did not want. He refused to sell us the car for the price that was given to us on the internet! My reaction is - they practiced deceptive practices to get us to come in, and then totally backed off on their offer from Pebbis over the internet: AND IN WRITING. Not only did they not work with me on my additional request, they added more to the fee. I can't truly know the intentions of everyone involved (whether they were all in on it or not) - speaking of Mike and/or Pebbis, but they seemed like good people and not intentionally misleading. However, Bill Double and superiors - seemed like that's how they did business to me. I would not recommend West County Honda to anyone that I like. They low-ball the price to get you in, and then change it when you show up. We walked out, and I would recommend anyone else do the same when this tactic is done here. More
My wife and I were out shopping for a car for her, we knew that she wanted a midsize car, so of course the Accord was on our list. We looked at the competion, and another Honda dealership, we were impres knew that she wanted a midsize car, so of course the Accord was on our list. We looked at the competion, and another Honda dealership, we were impressed with how pleasent our salesman was, very knowledgeable, and he frequently asked us if we wanted a bottle of water(it was very hot out). The dealership had a couple of cars we liked and we went in and talked a bit with no pressure to buy, my wife and I were so pleased that we went ahead decided to see if we could work out a deal, after a little negotiating we came to price that we were extremely happy with. The staff went out of their way to get us the car we wanted, which suprised us, because the car was supposed to go to another dealership in a trade, and had a sold sign on it! More

From the salesperson to the manager, we experience friendly service and great customer care. We chose to drive the extra distance to save money and get outstanding service! I came in looking for a accord the the salesman, Marcus was very polite and helpful. He showed me a few different cars and let me figure out which one suited me better. Buying a car at West County Honda was the single WORST purchasing experience and it is still not resolved 7 weeks later. The two positive elements of our experience were our interactions with Shelly M purchasing experience and it is still not resolved 7 weeks later. The two positive elements of our experience were our interactions with Shelly McGrael and sales person Marcus; they exemplified a goal attainment for the rest of the dealership. Special thanks to Shelly McGrael who continues to be an advocate in resolving the issues which remain outstanding; she is a testament to what customer service SHOULD BE. Marcus is a very benevolent, kind man who listens to his customers; unfortunately, he must rely on the ill concieved tootelage of his superiors in order to perform duties related to the convoluted sales process. This is from personal observation. I would not only not return, I would not refer anyone I like based upon my despicable mistreatment for the following: 1. Of the 6 times we arrived at the dealership, only twice were we properly greeted; meanwhile the Sales Manager and Dealership Manager strode by us without so much as a simple "hello". 2. The Sales Manager mis-quoted a vehicle $500 under the accurate monthly payment. 3. The financing was disastrous; we were given interest rate quotations of 15% despite two median credit scores of 700. When we pushed for an explanation, the Finance Manager simply said "we made a mistake, sorry". 4. The vehicle we purchased had 33,000 miles and had not been cleaned or serviced, had bald tires, a damaged exterior side mirror, and worn out brakes. After no less than 9 emails and 7 days later, we took delivery of our purchased vehicle. 5. The Finance department called 2 days after we took delivery (7 days after we signed the papers) to advise they forgot to get the co-buyers signature on the GAP paperwork and asked could we come out again; this would be trip #7 and the dealership is 25 miles from our home. 6. It has now been 7 weeks since we purchased the vehicle and we have yet to receive ANY PAPERWORK from them, resulting in the inability to properly license and title the car. When this was brought to their attention, we were told they never had the original title and had to order a new one; THAT SAME DAY! Our paperwork was somehow lost and no one could answer as to why. *While the dealership has offered to pay all fines/penalties associated with issue #6, it is a paltry remedy to what has been an extremely frustrating process. I would recommend you avoid this dealership at all costs until they have had adequate time and customer complaints to improve processes which will eliminate the egregious mistreatment of their customers. We purchased 3 vehicles in 2010, 2 of which were BMW's from Plaza Motors (whom I would recommend) and 1 of which was at McMahon Ford (I would not recommend them)and this was the worst experience both pre and post sales and throughout the entire buying process. I filled out a form on the internet for West County Honda and was called by Pebbis within 2 hours of my form submission. Dealing with her made me want to come in. She sent me information on the 6-7 vehicles I was considering and I decided to go right in and test drive them. She then put me in touch with Sales Guy Shawn Q. Shawn did not pressure me at all, answered my questions and provided me with keys for all the cars I wanted to drive. Once the decision was final for the car I wanted, even though it was past closing for the dealership, they all worked with me to get it done that night and I drove home in my new-to-me car. The finance person, I believe her name was Jessie or Jessica, laid it all out. It was easy to understand, no hidden sneaky business at all, and I really appreciated her candor and transparency with the finance charges and warranties. I need to get a small chip in the windshield repaired and actually look forward to it as the customer waiting areas are really awesome. My 8 year old wants to go with me; they have a kid play area, cookies, and the entire staff was so kind to him, especially Steve. It was the best car purchasing experience I've ever had, and the folks at West County Honda are to thank for that. I look forward to keeping my new-found relationship with them going for a very long time and have already recommended them to my friends, family and colleagues. More
Overall my purchasing experience was great. Steve was great; friendly; polite; accomadating. I went in with my wife and we ended up buying a new Accord.
