After reading on line reviews, I was concerned I’d receive the same run around. I am pleased to say, I did not and Derek requested my video and the technician inspected my vehicle. Although, the part is on backup, I feel confident West Herr will repair the moonroof better than new. If anyone is having the same issue, go to another Toyota dealership. More

I had an amazing experience buying my first new car from West Herr Toyota of Rochester. I made email contact knowing I wanted a 2025 Rav 4 Hybrid having already test-driven and with an offer from another de West Herr Toyota of Rochester. General Manager Jay Jay Vanderstyne worked with me directly and located me a vehicle that met my very specific preferences and bettered the out-the-door price. My first and only time needing to go to the dealership was the day I picked up the vehicle and the team based approach was very efficient and thoughtful. Tom Petrie took great care of me throughout the process and Steve Dermody offered a great no-pressure yet informative overview of add-ons. Everyone I worked with was professional and knowledgeable! I was relieved at how easy their team made this experience and would highly recommend West Herr of Rochester! More

Had a phenomenal trade-in experience this past week and drove home in my third West Herr vehicle in a row. I sat down with Mike Tyson over at the Chevy location in Henrietta with no expectation that I coul drove home in my third West Herr vehicle in a row. I sat down with Mike Tyson over at the Chevy location in Henrietta with no expectation that I could afford the vehicle I wanted — in fact, the vehicle that I had hoped to see that day had been sold before my appointment — but he didn’t rest until he found me an even better fit. We crunched numbers right up until close that night and made it fit into my budget. I ended up taking it home the very next day after my test drive! Mike was super communicative and helped me get everything in order throughout a hectic pre-holiday workday, which ultimately resulted in the smoothest auto purchase experience I’ve ever had. I also want to shout out Steve from the Toyota location in Greece, who helped me make some wise decisions about the future health of my new vehicle. He was so friendly and kept it real with me. I am currently in the market for a used hybrid Highlander. After months of searching, I finally found one at West Herr Toyota in Williamsville. They transported the vehicle to Rochester for us to Highlander. After months of searching, I finally found one at West Herr Toyota in Williamsville. They transported the vehicle to Rochester for us to test drive, which we appreciated. The car was in excellent condition and a great option for our family of five. The salesman even allowed my husband to drive it to our home so I could test it myself, as car shopping with young children is difficult. I loved the vehicle and immediately put down a deposit. We were prepared to pay all cash—approximately $45,000—to complete the purchase. Despite this, the salesman strongly suggested we finance the vehicle instead, citing a “low” interest rate of 4.9%. My husband declined, and we proceeded with preparing the paperwork to finalize the sale. Unfortunately, during transport, the windshield was damaged. While this was disappointing, we understood that windshields are replaced every day and were more than willing to wait weeks—or even months—if necessary for the repair. That’s when things took a surprising turn. We received a call informing us that West Herr would rather send the vehicle to auction than replace the windshield and complete our sale. Our deposit was refunded, and just like that, our family was left without a vehicle. In the same conversation, we were then told about brand-new vehicles they had available—again with “low interest rates.” I am shocked that West Herr chose to turn away an all-cash buyer over a straightforward repair and instead push financing and new inventory. The entire experience felt dismissive and misleading. For comparison, we purchased a brand-new Toyota Sienna from Hoselton just over a year ago and had an excellent experience from start to finish, with no issues in sales or customer service. I will never return to West Herr Toyota, and I strongly caution others: buyer beware More
