I had a great and positive experience purchasing a brand new Corolla Cross Hybrid with Toyota of Poway. From the start Alex was very attentive on the negotiation, after a lot of research I found out that only Toyota of Poway and another Toyota dealer in San Diego area are fair and honest with the price of the vehicle, they actually sell it for the advertised price (window sticker) without adding thousands of dollars on ad ons and junk fees that most dealers do illegally, not mentioning that I never felt any type of sales pressure whatsoever. The General Manager Michael was very kind and took the time to make sure my experience was going well. Toby Zachry the finance manager made the final steps of the process seamless and smooth and got me on my way in no time. He also was able to give me a great deal on an extended warranty package and alarm system. I highly recommend buying a car from this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used car. I am so glad I went to them. Thank You to the whole team at Toyota of Poway! You guys rock!

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Toyota Rav4 from Jim Bagan Toyota. This was the easiest car purchase I have ever done. Brad gave us a great deal. The entire staff where professional and outstanding. The shop foreman even took time to show me how the car was certified and checked over. Then he demonstrated how to use the numerous options on the car and made sure I was comfortable.. JJ was very through and detailed. He had everything ready and labeled to sign. Katelyn made sure my title was correct, mailed and followed up that it was received. I will definitely purchase a car from this dealership again. Thank you for a wonderful car buying experience.

Disappointing Post-Sale Experience – Lack of Accountability TL;DR: This dealership offers decent prices, but do not expect decent post-sale service based on our disappointing experience with the Sales and Finance teams. While I don’t believe they are deliberately deceptive, their lack of transparency and accountability is concerning. Avoid add-on services, especially extended warranties. If you must purchase one, make sure you get any promises in writing. Full Review: I purchased a 2024 Prius from Lompoc Toyota in March 2024 and initially had a good experience. The sales team was professional, and the purchase process went smoothly. Unfortunately, the problems began after the sale, and I feel compelled to share them to help future buyers. 1. Missing Owner’s Manual: The salesperson forgot to include the manual with the car. Mistakes happen, but it took two weeks and multiple follow-ups to get it shipped to us. Frustrating, but manageable. 2. One Key Only: Like many other Toyota buyers recently, we only received one key. We were told this was temporary, but despite repeated follow-ups, we still haven’t received any communication about when the second key will arrive. The lack of responsiveness has been disappointing. 3. Extended Warranty Issues: The most troubling experience involved the extended warranty. During purchase, Finance Manager Jorge (now a salesperson) assured us that we could get a full refund if we canceled the extended service agreement during the 3-year/36k-mile factory warranty period. In July, our car was totaled. It took several attempts to reach Jorge to cancel the warranty. After submitting the paperwork, a month went by with no communication. When we contacted the warranty company directly, we found out the dealership had never submitted our cancellation. We had to resolve it ourselves, only to discover that we were not eligible for the full refund, contrary to what Jorge had promised. Despite trying to resolve this with Lompoc Toyota, we were met with a lack of accountability and no follow-up. While the amount of money involved wasn’t large, the lack of transparency and post-sale service left us very disappointed. I had high hopes for this dealership, but this experience has changed my view. Future buyers should seriously reconsider doing business here, as their follow-up support is non-existent.

Bought my Tahoe here in 2017. Sales was fine, finance was fine. at 60k miles transmission failed after a recommended service. No issues prior to this service. I was under warranty. Transmission was difficult to get due to COVID but replacement eventually happened. I had my brakes done shorty after. Recently my brakes were making noise. I called to inquire about the warranty on them, I have yet to receive a call back that was over 2 weeks ago. My husbands truck had a recall on the airbags. Got it in and left my number. They keep calling my husband who is out of town. I picked it up and it is filthy. The rearview looks like it was almost ripped off. I was asked what time I'd be there so they can pull it up. When I got there I was given the keys to get myself. I have since traded my Tahoe in and will not purchase another Chevy due to constant issues with electrical, transmission and failure to return calls. While I was there the phone was ringing and the service associate sat there on his phone instead of helping his co-worker. They need new management and staff.

When searching for my new Tundra I looked EVERYWHERE. The only dealership that was willing to order the truck for me and not charge an exorbitant amount was Rogers & Rogers Toyota. After ordering the truck I received a few phone calls with updates. Within a few weeks they had called to let me know the scheduled build date. Once the truck was built they gave me an ETA for arrival to the dealership. Within 60 days I hd my custom built truck parked in my driveway! These guys are awesome!

Jeff was there for me throughout the entire process and assisted me in filling out all the sale documents from 3 states away. I would buy from Jeff again as he is a car guy and knows his stuff. He even made sure my CPO Toyota had all the accessories I needed and went the extra mile to drive my new Land Cruiser to a more convenient place for my auto transport shipper to pick it up. I went in for an oil change service with an appointment and was told it would take an hour and a half with a car wash. I was okay with waiting but it wasn't done until three hours later. There was no communication except for me asking the cashier if my truck was ready. I was finally informed by the service guy it was ready. I paid and I gave my ticket to the porter to bring my truck around it took another twenty plus minutes and was not washed. I called and complained to the service manager about my experience and all that was offered was for me to bring my truck down to get washed. I guess if you pay extra for a service contract they don't care because they already have your money.

Horrible business! Was promised by sales rep (Martin) registration would be paid for upcoming year. I was charged for registration 30 days later due to financial dept (Brian) stating they couldn’t renew because it was more than 30 days out, and DMV doesn’t allow them to renew the reg if it is over 30 days. It was 31 days exactly and even though sales rep assured me Toyota would pay this, they refused to pay the reg of $414. General manger Mike Hagans did absolutely nothing to help this situation and a full complaint was filed with Toyota corporation itself. Toyota has assured me this was unethical business and in fact refunded my money. Visalia Toyota is under investigation and I am a firm believer in justice will prevail. Proceed with CAUTION should you visit this dealership!
