Union Park service ended up using a dye as I recommended and Pete Rotteveel offered service that would cost an additional $1,600. I refused. This type of oil leak is not something that would have just come up in the last six months, nor is it a problem that should have to be repaired every six months. Their work is sloppy and they did not perform a thorough inspection and diagnosis back in September. I am very disappointed in the lack of quality service. I bought my BMW new from Union Park and had been a customer for many years for service on my other BMW cars. I had also recommended other people who purchased new BMW cars on my high recommendation. Union Park BMW did not value me as a customer and I no longer value Union Park BMW.
