Follow up 2018 SQ5 strange pulsing vibration. - Berto

Follow up 2018 SQ5 strange pulsing vibration. The master mechanic took the day and went through the vehicle. At the end he said all signs point to the transmission. I had the transmission replaced, the symptoms eased up for 2 days and since then have been back and never eased up. I have wound up spending over $15k on unnecessary repairs to this vehicle on Darlings repetitive incorrect diagnosis. It is clear they have no idea what's wrong with it. It is still vibrating and pulsing to this day with no hope of dealing with it. So disappointing to have such a fine vehicle as this SQ5 and have the brand's service department unable to do anything but guess as to what's wrong with it. At this point I look forward to whatever is going wrong with it to fully break and hopefully it doesn't cause me to have an accident hurting myself or others....or worse.

Had a 8:30 app., was there a little early and they took the car in at 8:20, did an inspection for a possible oil leak on RH head gasket, had it back by 9:15 with a printout of what they found. Was very satisfied with service department.

Brought my Infiniti for warranty work. The appointment was for 10 am. They texted me at 2:30, just getting around to looking at it. Basically said they would warranty the work, I was 7000 miles overdue for an oil change. I had one 8000 miles ago. Am I supposed to change it every 1000 miles. What a nightmare this place is. Scott Joys, service manager, once he finally called me back, was a bully, talked over me, awful experience.

While I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced and the waiting room was full, so I sat at a table on the EMPTY sales floor. A man came up and told me to move, and I said there's no seats in the waiting room and if someone needs to sign paperwork, I'm happy to move. He continued to harass me about moving, even after I repeatedly asked him to leave me alone. He later identified himself as the owner. He used threatening language like, "You need to learn a lesson about respect" and "I'm going to teach you a lesson." He also said that if you use their service department, you're not considered a customer. So something to consider. Others on the staff apologized for his behavior, but its absolutely ridiculous.

Thur Sept 11th - Came into the shop to get prices on parts make an appointment for my car. I left my info and was told that I would get a call later in the day. Fri Sept 12th – Never got a call. I called in the late afternoon, and was told that I would get a call back to confirm prices on parts and make an appointment. Tue Sept 16th – I came into the shop because no one would get back to me by phone. I was told by the secretary “who had the owner on the phone” that I would absolutely get a call back later in the day. I let her know how frustrated I was from not being able to make a simple appointment. Thur Sept 18th – I never got a call, so I called and finally spoke to the owner. I was finally able to get prices for the parts and labor and made an appointment. I made an appointment for 9am on the 30th. Tue Sept 30th - Came in for my 9am appointment and I was told that the parts were not in yet. Had over a week to order the parts. Got a call at 5pm, the parts were in. Had to reschedule my appointment for Friday Oct. 3rd Came in and they put in the parts. 2 hours later I had to come back because my car was acting up. They tested the “new” parts and 2 of them were bad. I had to go back the next week to have them do it again. I spoke with the owner, and he told me that I was not his priority, and I should find another place to get my car worked on. He basically told me to shove off. I have never before dealt with a place like this. After talking to others, I later found out that a number of people who bought their cars there have had many issues with their cars that they bought from him.

Our Honda HRV was brought in on a tow truck to Berlin City Honda. The vehicle had just had recall work done at another dealership and was not running right ever since. Dillon, the service person we worked with, treated us so well you would have thought we bought the vehicle at Berlin City. He was always courteous and professional in all our communications and Berlin City corrected the issue with the recall and the car now runs fine. Thank You Berlin City and we will definitely be looking your way for the next vehicle!

I came in on 8/28/18 with my 91 Nissan Skyline GTR looking to get a spare ignition key cut, no one else could do it no matter which specialty shop I went to. This is a simple key with no immobilizer, but a very specific cutting pattern which is not a common one. Travis took the time to research the background when I called in advance, identified that they have the correct foreign key blank I needed, and even cut the key on a standard blank to ensure it worked before cutting into the $40 OEM one that I had purchased on my own. Stellar research and customer service - a true expert. Please give Travis at least a bonus, but more preferably a raise especially if this review aligns itself with the standard of his work quality and outcomes daily. Despite the challenge, he made it happen by connecting the needed information and made sure it was a success for me as a customer. I will always come back here for anything Nissan related, the best experience, hands down. Thank you Berlin City Nissan, and thank you Travis!

My son was driving home to Maine from visit in NH. AAA towed his vehicle to Bessey because it was closest to him. The tow driver was amazing. Then at 10 this morning, my son called to ask if they could possibly get the car in to, they diagnosed and replaced the alternator and had him on his way at noon!

July 26 2013 The Service Deptment at Bill Dodge Used Auto group Checked out My 2000 Beige Buick LeSabre That I purchased on July 13 2013 at Bill Dodge. After My Mechanic looked over the Vehical He questioned a couple Items he found ie leaking valve cover and worn tie rod. He stated that the valve cover leak could cause a Fire and I should bring the car back to Bill Dodge and have it repaired. He also stated that for those reasons the car should not have had Passed a State Inspection.On July 24 2013 I contacted the service deptment and after some back and forth discussion they set me up with a July 26 2013 appoinment. I Met with Bob Murphy he took the car in and after awhile came out and told me that the tie rod end was okay and the front end was soild. They could not duplicate the engine mmiss fire cylinder 3 but did see the P0300 #3 miss fire code also they saw no valve cover oil leak. So I explained that my mechanic show me and it was located between the firewall and the engine. When Bob returned he located some weaping but not a oil LEAK at the valve cover. further Bob stated that cars 2 years old and newer have oil leaks. also stated they did not want to tighten the valve covers cause it could make the LEAK worse. I questioned hime and tried to get him to be proactive that the Leak would only get worse and feared an engine fire Bob said he would talk with the Sales Manager for a fianal decision. Bob also stated that if the Average Customer were to come in off the road and wanted the valve covers gasket replaced. that he would talk the customer out of doing the $245.00 repair cause it just is not worth it. I told Bob That I am concerned about a enging fire on my WIFES car the 30 day Warrenty should apply I should not have to bring the car back under the extended service plan which I bought and have to fork out more money especially when the ITEMS should have kept the Vehical from recieving STATE INSPECTIONS STICKERS in the first place.. and I did not consider myself an Average Customer just off the street . I Had BOUGHT 2 Buicks LeSabre here on July 13 2013 CASH and I did not beat anybody up on the price when I bought them and would hope they would do the right thing and do the REPAIRS. My Last hope was the sales MANAGER of the DAY who I did not met and there was no attempt by him to come out and talk with me at all. OUR GREATEST RECOGNITION IS YOUR SATISACTION !!! are you sure about that. So it only gets better from here I also had brought the other Buick in because of Items that my Mechanic found that should have kept that car from having a STicker to. But I will do another Dealer Review on 2005 Buick LeSabre

Always greeted promptly, went in for an oil change and tire rotation, offered a coupon but the service advisor said she had a better one which was much appreciated. Clean waiting area and plenty of space, bottled water available. Only complaint was they said it would take 45 minutes and It took 1.5 hours. Will definitely return. Trustworthy service
