On Thursday, 4/15, I had an appt at Kia for 4 new tires. Melissa Miller, Service Advisor, took care of me. Melissa was awesome. She was friendly, professional, and kept me in the loop re the status of my vehicle while I was waiting in the customer sitting area. The service department was very busy when I was there and Melissa kept a cool, professional and great attitude while handling her busy day. While waiting, Melissa informed me that I needed a back up bulb which was taken care of. She also went over the Multi-Point Inspection of my car and advised that other than the bulb, everything looked good. She discussed that my brakes were good although I did mentioned that I use to be a heavy breaker. So Melissa filled me in about how to properly brake upon approaching a stop sign or red light. I have to admit that Melissa is one of the most knowledgeable Service Advisors that I have come in contact with during the many years that I have been coming to Kia for service of my car. She displays such a caring and professional attitude, qualities that I do not see in many service advisors. I also witnessed how she treated 3 other customers who were also waiting in the customer sitting area. One gentleman mentioned to me how considerate Melissa was to him. I look forward to seeing her upon my next service date which will probably be for my Kia's oil change. If a dealer is scheduling several weeks out it usually means they provide honest and excellent service so EVERYONE wants to go there!!! If I need a New York State Inspection I know a whole year in advance and plan for it as responsible people should. I have also used their EXPRESS SERVICE without an appointment for simple services such as an inspection and oil changes and I LOVE IT!!!! To Mr 1 Star Negativity you should know they and all other dealers offer EXPRESS SERVICE quit being ENTITLED AND RUDE please be respectful!!!!

I brought my 2023 Subaru Ascent in for a braking issue (grinding / pulsing) to Van Bortel after taking it to another Subaru dealer in our area. The previous shop wanted to apply a band aid fix and not address the core issue. Van Bortel assessed the issue and replaced defective parts against the vehicles warranty. All the staff were friendly and helpful, a loaner vehicle was provided. I was treated with respect and made me feel welcome. I wish I had bought my car there. All our future maintenance will be done at Van Bortel going forward.

I cannot say enough fabulous things about the team at Victor Chrysler! The dealership is absolutely gorgeous. I recently had a service appointment, the service writer went above and beyond for me. I was updated throughout the entire appointment. During my wait, I was able to get some work completed on my laptop in their beautiful customer lounge. The whole experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this group.
