Wonderful personal service - Barbara408
Wade went out of his way to help us purchase our Lexus. We were shopping from San Antonio and thoughout the process he was attentive to our needs. He created a video for us and answered all of our questions on the phone. He was able to meet us on the weekend to make the final purchase. We would recommend Wade wholeheartedly.
New Porsche Macan S - wdh1945
Visited dealership after locating a vehicle via online inventory. Was very respectfully greeted and advised by Brand Ambassador Brandon Morris. Entire purchase transaction was accomplished efficiently and without high pressure approach. Very satisfied with the experience. After completion of paperwork I was introduced to service advisor and given vehicle overview.
Service with a smile - Nyles99

Me in the loop daily on what was being done.

Door panel replacement - GDAWG66
I came in for the replacement of door panels on my 2014 Cayman S. Zach greeted me at the service bay and quickly had my car back in service for repairs. I waited approximately 2.5hrs in the showroom and Zach gave me updates as to when vehicle would be ready. My car was washed and ready on time. As usual Zach and the service team were outstanding. I will be back.

I want to make it clear that this review applies only to the service dept and the actual work performed on my car. Interactions with all the employees has always been friendly/accomodating. I bought my car at PWest and don't have any complaints about that process. My problem with the service dept is that my car has been returned to me several times with visually obvious errors in work (e.g. missing engine brace bolt, hose clamp dangling on hose, alignment report showing the alignment out of spec, etc) and/or original issue not resolved and/or new issue created.
I recognize that part of this is due to the fact that dealer wants to make money on service and doesnt get paid the same hours for a job if its warranty vs if customer is paying. On the other hand, the items mentioned above were OBVIOUS errors that reflect either haste, inexperience, incompetence, or combination of all three.
I recently got PCNA involved because the problems continued even after talking to service manager and general manager, but even with all that, my car was returned to me on my most recent visit after having front suspension work done and the side that was worked on started "popping". I took the car to Porsche NORTH who fixed it the next day and said "something was loose".
Shame on me for returning to PWest so often (they are closer than PNorth). I wont be going back to PWest again. I want my very expensive, very well engineered, very high performance car to be fixed right the first time (within reason) without having to personally review the work myself OR worry that something wasnt done right.
Great experience purchasing CPO from across the country! - instarand
I purchased a CPO Porsche from Porsche of San Antonio. It was a hard to find car, and since I live in CT it was a total phone/e-mail/FedEx deal. The sales person Bryan was great. He was very responsive to my relatively demanding questions (paint meter, service history, warranty work, detailed pictures of various hinges and screws, DME readings, CPO process and services, etc., etc., etc). A+ for Bryan and his support. The finance manager Craig was also a pleasure to work with when it came time for paperwork. He was also very responsive and informative about all the various financing details. The dealership recommended a vehicle transport company which worked out fantastic. 10/10 for the folks at Porsche San Antonio!
Porsche collectors BEWARE. THIS DEALERSHIP TO BE AVOIDED - BillyMartin
Recently bought 2004 911 Turbo x50 Cab to add to my collection. Based on all assurances that all systems fully functional and operational - and service records from recent 30,000 mile service and 125 point Autonation warranty inspection - I bought the car sight unseen and had shipped to NC. AND paid their list price. The car arrived with inoperative rear spoiler - and dash warning light had been turned off. After many emails, phone calls etc to Arron in service, Chris Moore (salesman) and Mike Marsh, General Manager I was told to go away. The service technician said"I don't know what is included in the 125 Autonation inspection". They would not tell me about their service history on the spoiler although I was told the same technician had serviced this car since new - for 13 years!
I had diagnostic test done by dealer locally and was told that Porsche Plano could not have been unaware of the defective spoiler- and got $4000 estimate to repair. No question in my mind Plano shipped the car with defect knowingly and management WILL NOT SUPPORT SALE DEPT REPRESENTATIONS AFTER THE SALE.
I have owned 16 Porsche cars bought from dealers all over the US and this is my first problem and first review. Porsche Club Of America members and serious enthusiasts - stay away from this dealer or be burned.
