I recently had my Jeep serviced at Clay Cooley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. While the actual servicing was done well, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience — particularly the extended wait time and lack of timely communication.
I dropped off the vehicle on a Thursday but didn’t receive it back until the following Tuesday. This is my primary vehicle for daily commute, so being without it for that many days was extremely difficult to manage. What made it more frustrating was that on Friday I was told the vehicle would be checked in the morning and that I’d be informed about the parts delivery timeline. Unfortunately, by late Friday, the check still wasn’t done, and I had to scramble to arrange last-minute transportation.
Additionally, while the staff I worked with is usually friendly, on that particular day, the communication was lacking. When I reached out for an update, I was told that I wasn’t the only customer and that they were busy with others. I understand the shop can be busy, but I expected a more professional and courteous response, especially given the delay and uncertainty I was dealing with.
Overall, I appreciate the quality of the service work itself, but the customer service and communication during the process fell short, and I hope the dealership can improve on that front going forward.
