I visited the dealership for a scheduled oil change. - Kimberly Thomas
I visited the dealership for a scheduled oil change. Blake, one of the service advisors, informed me that the manufacturer recommended additional services at different mileage intervals. One of those was a transmission flush. At first I was reluctant, but eventually I agreed, and both services were completed.
However, shortly after leaving the dealership and turning onto Morse Rd., I noticed that something was wrong with my steering wheel—it was out of alignment. I immediately pulled over and contacted the dealership. I spoke with Mark from the service team, who assured me that an oil change and transmission flush would not have caused this issue.
I returned to the dealership and met with Blake, who promptly assessed the problem. He explained that the issue was due to the recent tire rotation and that I would need a wheel alignment. At that point, I declined, as I had already spent $385 unexpectedly. The quoted price for the alignment was $129.99.
I will be taking my car elsewhere for an alignment. If that does not resolve the issue, I plan to return to the dealership to ensure my vehicle is properly fixed.
