car dealers doing what they SHOULD My whole life, I've been disenchanted with car dealers. They say whatever they have to to get you to buy, and then, you're on your own. Today I thought I was up a creek, but the management staff were wonderful, and did what they should have done, and provided good service, rather than what they could have done. Legally, they could have left me high and dry, and in debt with a car that I couldn't fix. Instead, they took care of me. Thanks paramount! More

We actually live in another city and purchased our new 2015 Sorento at Paramount Kia on a Saturday. Since we didn't have all the necessary documents with us, Nelson actually delivered the car to us on Monday, which involved a 2-hour drive each way. Talk about service! We could not have been happier with the entire experience. More

We received a call from Aaron Hill after Kia did not receive a rating from us on our purchase of a 2012 Kia Sorento. He was concerned as to why. After my husband explained why we had not been totally receive a rating from us on our purchase of a 2012 Kia Sorento. He was concerned as to why. After my husband explained why we had not been totally satisfied with the way the first transaction transpired and the fact that we had ended up with a 2012, rather than a 2013 as we had hoped, he asked us to come back in to see if anything could be worked out to our satisfaction, and we did. Mr. Hill spent a good portion of the day with my husband, and along with Jessica Patillo, found a much better vehicle at a price we felt we could handle. Mr. Hill, Ms. Patillo and Mr. DeHart, through diligence and a lot of effort on their part, worked out a financial plan for us to be able to purchase a 2014 Kia Sorento. I had been at work while all this was going on, but I came after work and drove the vehicle and found it to have a very smooth ride and more in line with what we were looking for. I was pleased with the car instantly. It is beautiful, has a smooth ride, and my husband is comfortable in the front seat which is one of the qualities we were looking for. I now have the "new car" feeling and have enjoyed showing it off to everyone. We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff at Paramount Kia went out of their way to serve our needs, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We do not feel that any other dealership would have shown such courtesy and assistance and spent the time and effort as Mr. Hill, Ms. Patillo, and Mr. DeHart. They went above and beyond. We will recommend Paramount Kia to anyone. Please accept our thanks and gratitude. More

My sales Consultant, Ron McDaniel, was great as was his Manager, Aaron Hill. I had no intention of buying a KIA when I walked in. Not only were they friendly and not "pushy", but extremely knowledgeable. They also backed up everything they told me about the Forte with an article in Motor Trend supporting its great features. The warranty was the best and the deal they made me more than fair. It also looks "classy". With this car, its warranty, and the financing who could go wrong. I love my KIA and will recommend the vehicle and this Dealership to anyone who will listen. More

I went to Paramount Kia originally shopping for a lease on a new car. I had visited several different dealers in the area and was not enthusiastic about any deal I was offered until I turned into the Param on a new car. I had visited several different dealers in the area and was not enthusiastic about any deal I was offered until I turned into the Paramount Kia lot and began looking at the Kia Soul! The car was great and I had zero problems organizing the lease agreement; everyone was lovely. At the end of the lease I went back to Kia and met Straiten Klein and all the wonderful people at the main dealership near the Biltmore Square Mall. The turn-in of the Soul! was totally hassle free; just amazingly easy. I was considering trading in for another Soul! when I saw the Forte Five Door, which was a costlier car but I wanted to lease it. Straiten Klein and all those involved bent over backward to help me. I'm older and live on a fixed income and the dealership really went the extra mile to put me in the new car I wanted and still stay within my budget. Note, they were not 'struggling' at the dealership; there were dozens of people there to buy and lease at the time; everyone was being run off their feet. I have been to other dealers who had high demand for their vehicles and responded by becoming overtly arrogant toward their customers while making zero effort to be cooperative. However Straiten and the staff at Paramount Kia are an exception to be sure; they made a genuine effort to work with me and I am grateful for and impressed by the general air of friendliness and of everyone working together to make the deal. Straiten Klein is a DOLL! He made sure I understood every detail about the car; helped me set up the terrific tech apps in the car and was very patient at every step; believe me, patience was required. He's very smart as well as funny and, with his great sense of humor, besides getting a great deal, I have never had so much fun leasing a car. Meanwhile Aaron was working very hard on the financial agreement and they both did everything they could to make it work out for me ... and they DID! Then Jeff's office was the final stop for signing the lease agreement and he too was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The entire transaction was smooth and easy. Everyone I met at Paramount Kia [including the service personnel] was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, helpful, cooperative and a pleasure to work with. Straiten Klein is my favorite salesman in all the world; we had such a good time working out the details of the agreement and the Kia's are so great I cannot imagine going anywhere else. The Forte is so much fun to drive; it's a great little car and perfect for me in every way so I am beyond delighted to have it. I would highly recommend Paramount Kia and hope everyone's experience will be as terrific as mine was; Paramount Kia is MY car dealer and I am taking my daughter in to get her new Kia in August. Can't wait! More

We were not intending to purchase a car the day we stopped at Paramount Kia. The salesman who asked if he could help (Ed Nichols) was very informative about the Optima we were looking at, he was not p stopped at Paramount Kia. The salesman who asked if he could help (Ed Nichols) was very informative about the Optima we were looking at, he was not pushy but had the answers to the questions we posed and he and Aaron Hill made our decision to purchase a fairly easy one. From trade in to financing to actual driving the car we chose home that same day Paramount and the employees we had contact with were simply GREAT and in a word this experience was PRICELESS!!!!. I bought a car at Paramount Kia of Ashville. During the test drive of this 06 Honda civic everything was fine, I was ready to sign the papers. Then I tried to back the car into a parking spot. I asked my pop's about it, he thought it was strange, so we asked Matt--our salesman-- and he also thought it was strange. We took the car to the service department where we asked John, the service manager, about the shifting issue. He talked about how it was a safety issue, and that it is more difficult to shift into this gear to prevent accidental reverse shifts. Made sense to me, but I wanted to double check, so I asked again, SPECIFICALLY about the reverse. John assured me that it was all normal and that everything was 100% on this car. So, naturally I bought it. Fast forward to tomorrow, since I bought the car out of state, I paid tax and got a tag in my town, got insurance, and everything was great--except that reverse was still acting up, and seemed to be getting worse. So I took it to a friend who works at a Honda dealer. Immediately after feeling the shifter, he told me the transmission was in bad shape, and would probably need to be replaced. This was bad news for 2 reasons I just bought the car, and I needed to get to Chicago where I go to school and where I had to work the next day. I had an inspection done--which was not free--and when I was told I would need to get the transmission replaced was very upset. It was going to take almost a week to get the parts in, and that means i would be missing a lot of work. I had them order the parts expedited so I could leave sooner. When I called Kia, they gave me the runaround telling me to call this person, or they will call me back, or call that person. When I finally got to talk to Scott he said we could "unwind the deal". But I already put the tags and title in my name, already paid taxes, already had insurance, and Honda was working on my car. And is that all you are willing to do? I bought a car, and something that I specifically addressed before buying the car went wrong, so your response is "give it back, and leave us alone". Makes me wonder if it's not the first time something like this has happened. I was left to pay this $2200 bill by myself less than 24 hours after I bought the car. A $2200 bill that was an issue I had addressed SPECIFICALLY before buying the car. $2200 that I could have saved if they would have been honest with me. I will never do business here again, I will tell anyone and everyone I can, not to shop here. More
