They lied to me about the car and had me fly out to get it. When I saw the car wasn’t what was posted, they refused to pay for my flight. Will NEVER buy from them and they shouldn’t have a spot to sell on it. When I saw the car wasn’t what was posted, they refused to pay for my flight. My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally tapped out on me on the way to work one day right after Thanksgiving. After sharing my wife My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer with 175,000 miles finally tapped out on me on the way to work one day right after Thanksgiving. After sharing my wife's SUV with her for about a month, we discovered that sharing one vehicle just was not working. I began to look around on the internet for another Mountaineer (why not..this one ran for 13 years) but it had to be VERY nice but VERY affordable before I would take another car payment on after only have one payment for 5 years. I found the 2007 Mercury Mountaineer that I would end up buying on Cars.COM from Koons Arlington Toyota. The low ball "WOW" price almost scared me away at first, because it was too good to be true. It was around 8:30 at night on around 21 Dec, and their website offered a chat feature. On a lark, I hit it to see if anyone was in...and the they were!! Paul started chatting with me and we made an appt for the next day..but I couldn't make it. I called Paul and told him it would be after Christmas before I got in, and he said no problem, and even pulled the Truck off to the side and let everyone know that he was working on a deal with me, so no one else tried to sell it. When I came in on 26 Dec...it was cleaned up and ready to show, and it had even been dropped another $500 to $12,499. This SUV books out high retail at $16, 200. No one else on cars.con could come even close to this price. I had my own financing from my bank, so this was the car and the price for me. There was an issue with the fold up/fold down motor being broken in on one of the 3rd row seats,"no problem, we'll fix it...we sell every car right" Paul tells me. With this price, I was able to get more than was they were asking from my bank, and pay a big chunk on my very comprehensive extend warranty that Ali offered me. I was in and out of Ali's office with an hour. Since then, the seat is not fixed as of yet, but that is a Ford back order issue..not a Koons. I have talked to Al the Used Car Manager almost daily on the status, as he looks for way to find the part faster. I had a few admin snafus on the Warranty Contract with things I wanted or had forgotten to ask for not being checked..No problem. Ali worked with the Warranty Company to get me every extra thing that I needed so that I have as close as you can possibly get to a bumper to bumper warranty for 36 mo/3 years. I plan to run the wheels off of this Mountaineer just like I did my last one. When it comes time for my wife or I to get a new SUV..this is where we are going, no question. If I have one knock at all, if if you have to call the New Dealership side for some reason..they appear to be short staffed and you get ALOT of voicemails, rather than the person you need to talk to. It took me an ENTIRE day to get someone on the phone on day. They are aware of the problem, and are looking for ways to fix it, however. The Used Lot picks up right way, but if someone you need to talk to from there, happens to be working in the New Car building that day...you could be in the black hole until they get the phone/personnel situation fixed. The price and the service overall though WAYYY out way that issue though. Go and get your "WOW" price now. **WARNING*** Don't let their low prices scare you off..They are all about volume, and COMPLETE customer satisfaction, so that you come back, and you tell ALL of your friends. When you do your homework like I did, you will know that you are talking to a seasonsed professional when you first make that call. However, once you get to the delearship, make sure your prospective salesp you are talking to a seasonsed professional when you first make that call. However, once you get to the delearship, make sure your prospective salesperson is honest enough to say, '...I know this, I don't know about that ... will ask my colleague on that one ...' If you meet one who sales used cars of all makes, years and models and claims to be an expert on everything, I will suggest you run immediately. Honesty is key! You also wanna make sure they can answer as many 'what if' questions especially concerning the numbers. Listenning between the lines to see if their whole body speaks the same language like the sound from their mouth helps the most. It's not always easy to add bills. However, when your body fits perfectly in that car ... your brain sees the complete rationale and your heart sinks in, it's OK! To get to this 'brain-body-heart' synchonicity, you will need a patient, honest, kind, and seasoned professional salesperson to get there. Mr Steve Cox is that kind of guy!!! More

I recently purchased a used Nissan Altima from Koons Arlington Toyota/Scion. The customer service I received was excellent. I had been to a dozen dealers before stopping at this one and all the previous Arlington Toyota/Scion. The customer service I received was excellent. I had been to a dozen dealers before stopping at this one and all the previous dealers were very pushy and flat out lied about damages that we found with each car. It was a relief to find a dealer where the employees were more concerned with giving you exactly what you wanted rather than what they wanted you to buy. The employee I dealt with was knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate of my & my boyfriends previous knowledge of vehicles. The quality of the vehicle was excellent for a 6 year old car and even after having it looked over by another dealership after purchase, everything was found to be in good order. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and personable. I thought that the out the door price was a little high but that seems to be the case everywhere these days and after searching the internet I found that the sale price was about average. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this dealership to many of my friends. More

I had a pleasant buying experience at Koons. They even fed me while I was filling out paperwork. Gotta love that. Only negative was I had to fill out a partial credit app to secure the car as there was s fed me while I was filling out paperwork. Gotta love that. Only negative was I had to fill out a partial credit app to secure the car as there was someone else attempting to buy the same car at the same time. I could have avoided that if I had brought a check with me. Next time I'll buy a less popular car! More

My boyfriend and I were in the market for a vehicle under $10k and on one of the rainiest days we've seen in a while we stumbled into Koon's Arlington Used Car lot. We saw our recently purchased Jeep Liberty $10k and on one of the rainiest days we've seen in a while we stumbled into Koon's Arlington Used Car lot. We saw our recently purchased Jeep Liberty sitting in the lot. We loaded the specs on our phone which we found very nicely laid out and helpful on the Koon's website and then went in and met Steve our sales consultant. Steve was very upbeat and helpful walking us through the entire process. He was very well rounded and knowledgeable in all aspects of the car buying process from the sale to the financial. After our purchase we ended up having to return the vehicle because of a check engine light that had appeared the next morning. We were able to immediately call Steve who came out on his day off to make sure we were taken care of. Koon's assessed and fixed our vehicle and provided us a loaner vehicle while they worked on the Jeep. The dealership took it out tested the vehicle over a period of time to make sure they were able to fix the issue (just wet spark plugs from the rain) and returned the vehicle in a timely manner. This was definitely one of the best car purchase experiences thanks to Koon's and most of all thanks to our sales guy Steve. More

This was my first car buying experience and I must say it was quite overwhelming. . . until I met Steve. I should have immediately come to Koon's when I started looking for a car. I came in after work, p was quite overwhelming. . . until I met Steve. I should have immediately come to Koon's when I started looking for a car. I came in after work, pretty late to test drive my Honda Accord and Steve was there waiting for me outside when I showed up with the car all set to drive. He was very informative, but what I loved was how personable he was. Trying to decide on a car is stressful within itself, but I didn't want to have to deal with a pushy cars salesman to add on top of that. . and I didn't have to. I felt like Steve was a friend helping me pick what was best for me. I left that night feeling like the decision was completely mine and that I wasn't pushed into anything I didn't want to do. That following morning, I decided to purchase the car. I again was very nervous, due to it being my first time buying a car, but again Steve helped me stay calm and made everything a breeze. He even took the time to come to Downtown DC, to my office to sign some papers so that we could hold the car for me until I got in that evening after work. At the dealership I was treated like a queen. I was quite satisfied with the service but as soon as I met Alex Belhadi I became even more blown away. Not just service oriented but he was great to talk with and he completely calmed my nerves. By this point, I just signed papers while laughing over great conversation. It was a great ending to a very long day. I was able to leave with friendships, laughs and pictures! I really appreciated the service that was given to me. I've been to a few different dealerships and I must say that Koon's Arlington Toyota had the best vibe and personality as well as service. I would definitely recommend you guys to my friends and family. More
