Service team is friendly, but horrible communication between sales department and national customer care. Only went twice, and both times were horrible. First time, they try to sell me tires for my bran between sales department and national customer care. Only went twice, and both times were horrible. First time, they try to sell me tires for my brand new car, only to find out from my local service person that it was only a small pet pebble and no puncture or tire damage. That was after a 2 1/2 hour wait! Second visit, although I received emails stating maintenance was due, and even overdue, when I arrived I was told I did not have service. That was after eight weeks of trying to schedule an appt.! Did the national customer care, and was notified that I was due for complementary maintenance every 3000 miles! It’s been a complete run around, waste of time, because of the horrible communication between departments! How can my car file State that I am titled to complementary maintenance every 3000 miles, when the local Paramus service dePartment has no knowledge of this? You are promised the world it seems to make a sale, but it’s a far cry to get the service that you promised.Not happy! Improve communication so your customers are not hassle.I will not reach the stars for anyone, because they try the best, however the system is terrible. More

Lack of care from management on down to the saleperson I would like to share the experience my son and I had at Paramus New Jersey dealership recently. My son and I both purchased the 2020 Santa Fe Turbo b I would like to share the experience my son and I had at Paramus New Jersey dealership recently. My son and I both purchased the 2020 Santa Fe Turbo back in December. The sales person Brian who we worked with was pleasant enough in the beginning of the process, but went downhill from there. It got so bad that I had made a grievance call to Hyundai corporate. I had spoken to Brandy at corporate to share my concern. 1 (800) 633-5151 ask for Brandy at Hyundai Corporate Buyer Beware: Do not pay for “Security etching fee” at $199. I told Brian I did not wish for my son and I to pay for it. I received an e mail confirming we would have the fee waived. My fee was but my son’s was not. We asked it to be taken off; it’s a rip-off. You don’t need it. You can Google it. My son test drove the car and was supposed to get a $50 visa card. I got mine from another dealer when I test drove the Santa Fe, we asked Brian for the gift card and never heard back. On 12/20/2019 the day we were going to pick the car I get a call from Brian saying he made a mistake that the car he ordered was not in stock. He was going on vacation the next day he told me that my son would have to wait until he returns from vacation; we told him that was not an option. My son found the car at another location that was when Brian said he would go and get it. What was supposed to be a short wait, we ended up waiting over 4 hours. Being late and hungry the manager told us to go and eat and we would be reimbursed. We never received our reimbursement. When we got the car which was close to 9pm. Brian rushed us and snuck in the “etching fee” of $199. I told him not to and asked for a refund. Great experience at Paramus Hyundai and Brian was wonderful! I was in the market for a new SUV (mine was 15 years old) and was dreading the process...the high prices, ridiculous 'fees' and the negotiation proces I was in the market for a new SUV (mine was 15 years old) and was dreading the process...the high prices, ridiculous 'fees' and the negotiation process involved in getting a new car. I went to several dealerships looking for an SUV and sure enough the process was as painful as I thought it would be...until we met with Brian. I already had narrowed down the type of car I wanted (Hyundai Santa Fe) and I had also visited another local Hyundai dealership. With Brian there was no pressure, no sales pitch and there wasn't alot of back and forth on price. He worked with us, worked with the price we wanted to pay and made it really painless. I would absolutely recommend working with Brian! More

Straight forward conversation that was honest about what they could offer. After lease was complete he also gave direct contact info and chased on any pending docs or registrations. Was a very good experience and I’d recommend this dealership and Brian to anyone interested in a Hyundaii. will def be using Brian for any vehicles in the future. More
