Summit Place Kia, A Pleasant Place to Be! I had a VERY pleasant experience at Summit Place KIA purchasing my new car. The staff were very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommo I had a VERY pleasant experience at Summit Place KIA purchasing my new car. The staff were very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. I have mobility issues and walk with a cane, and Byron was sure to take this into consideration when showing me the vehicle that I was interested in. He was also VERY knowledgeable and well versed in the KIA Soul, the vehicle, I was interested in, and was able to show me and explain to me all of the pertinent features. I felt VERY comfortable with him and not too pressured to buy as with most commission salesmen. My overall experience was excellent and I look forward to further business with Summit Place KIA. More

After getting into an accident a few weeks ago I was stuck without a car and desperately needed to find on in order to keep my job. The first place my friend suggested I call was Summit Place Kia in Aub stuck without a car and desperately needed to find on in order to keep my job. The first place my friend suggested I call was Summit Place Kia in Auburn Hills. Byron was the sales consultant who not only assisted with my purchase but miraculously got me into a BRAND NEW 2020 Kia Forte!! Honestly I didn’t have good credit or even much proof of pay this year and he STILL managed to secure this car for me and now I don’t have to worry about my job or transporting my family around. The whole process went so smooth and it was very stress free. I cannot believe I am driving this car compared to what I was driving. Byron is not only very friendly and easy to talk to but he literally went above and BEYOND for me to help me sort my car situation out to best suit my needs. I HIGHLY recommend this location but most definitely Byron himself. He is a terrific sales consultant and I am so thankful for his assistance during this roadblock in my life!!! More

Horrible Experience My wife and I went to this dealership because we always heard about it on the radio or on TV. We were in the market for a new car for our growing fami My wife and I went to this dealership because we always heard about it on the radio or on TV. We were in the market for a new car for our growing family. We had our infant child with us so being at a car dealership all day wasn't in our best interest. However, in need of a car we thought how long does it take to test drive and figure out numbers on a car? Maybe an hour or two max? We can always come back later to sharpen the pencil. Byron told us in the beginning of the sales process told us he just had a baby as well. We thought perfect he gets us and knows we have a ticking time bomb with us. We thought he would understand that sitting and waiting was not good for us. DEAD WRONG. We waited for an HOUR just to see the car, then he tried to come up with some excuse saying the car was in "show room mode" and we couldn't test drive the car. You'd have to be crazy to spend $40k and NEVER drive the car! He kept having to go check on something or wait for something or whatever. However, after waiting 15 minutes in between each departure I'd go out to the sales floor and see him with another customer! First time I thought oh he's just helping but, when I saw it 5 times was beyond RUDE. He spent a maybe a total of 15 minutes with us during the time we spent at the dealer. Finally, I told him we need to get this process moving, I am a very easy going patient person but I hit my limit. Needless to say we sat in a dealership for 3 hours and they came up with a price that was no where near our budget! Beyond brutal. I have over 15 years in the customer service industry and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. We left the dealership, disappointed and searching for options. We then went to a different dealer not named Summit Place and purchased a new vehicle. The other dealership, paid attention to our needs, knew we had an infant with us and got us out fast! Oh and they met our budget! About a week ago we got a voicemail from Byron seeing if we wanted to do business with him/Summit Place. We immediately deleted the VM and will NEVER go to the dealership. This should be a HUGE training opportunity. Byron, you should have spent less time trying to burn the candle at both ends! If he had another customer in then fine set us up with someone else. We would have done business with you but, the way you disregarded our business is beyond rude. Remember in any sales industry/arena - customer service first, sales person second. More
