I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. I bought my Rav 4 at Pappas and other than getting new tires from Costco, all service and repairs have been done at Pappas Toyota in St. Peter’s. T I bought my Rav 4 at Pappas and other than getting new tires from Costco, all service and repairs have been done at Pappas Toyota in St. Peter’s. Today I went in for an oil change and also explained that I had bought new headlights and put one of them in and it wasn’t working. I had the other brand new headlight still in packaging and asked that they look to see what the problem was. It turns out I had put the light bulb in upside down. I fully expected to have to pay for some labor (I understand I’m going to a dealership for service) but I was shocked when I was charged $160 for the headlights to be installed (I had already purchased the headlights so this was just diagnostics and labor). I am angry, disappointed and feel taken advantage of. Pappas has lost my trust and my business. My mom was actually shopping for a new car while we were waiting for my car to be finished and said she will now also be taking her business elsewhere. More
