Thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to complete the picture of our interaction. We offer several options for guests to purchase a vehicle before someone else does. In our conversation with you, for example, we pointed out that you could buy now and take advantage of our 5-day money-back guarantee if you changed your mind. We believe we made it clear that we don't "hold" cars. All advertised vehicles are available to anyone until they're sold. After hearing about the available options and our inability to hold cars, you told us you still wanted to go home and think about it. The next day, another guest came and purchased the car for the same No Bull Price that you considered. Our management team kept you informed of this transaction so you didn't make a trip to the dealership to find the vehicle gone. We very definitely care about all of our customers and we're sorry that we couldn't reach an agreement with you to purchase the vehicle before you left. From this review, it's clear you really wanted the car and we wish we could have done more to meet that desire. We always apply these same policies and we always do our best to make sure our guests have all the information needed to make informed decisions.

I am an inexperienced car buyer and did not expect that this was such a cut throat transaction. I disagree that these policies were made clear to me. If they were, I would not have left and assumed that I could buy the car the next morning. I never heard a word about holding or not holding cars.. It never came up. These things must have been mentioned in passing to someone who did not realize how all my time spent at your dealership, and the fact that I loved the car and my good faith really didn't matter at all. I suggest more experienced sales persons and showing more personal interest in your customers when they come in, and make more of effort to make sure that they understand your policies.. Make sure that you make your customers feel valued like your commercial claims that you do.... That did not happen with me.

I was not going home to just think about the sale. I told the salesperson that we would complete the sale in the morning. If these policies were mentioned to the 3rd party that was involved, they did not get back to me.

Thank you for the additional feedback. While we're absolutely sure we explained our money-back guarantee and the fact that we don't hold cars, we do understand that inexperienced car buyers experience additional stress in the showroom. We're sorry we contributed to that. We would have thought that the advisor/broker you brought with you would have helped you out more in this respect. Experienced brokers completely understand that dealers don't hold cars in situations like these. We merely sold the car to the first guest who completed a transaction with us, nothing more. Our policies around pricing, vehicles, financing, etc. are exactly the same for everybody. All guests have the opportunity to purchase any unsold car on our lot anytime. We really appreciate that you considered us and we apologize for leaving you with anything other than an excellent experience at Wilsonville Toyota.
