I have no idea who Bruce is. Darren was ok but it was also scorching hot outside so I can't blame him for lack of desire to stand outside and go over all the characteristics of t Darren was ok but it was also scorching hot outside so I can't blame him for lack of desire to stand outside and go over all the characteristics of the vehicle. we were in the dealership for hours after a very quick decision to purchase the vehicle- just waiting to talk to?? I'm not sure what took so long. My and my husband's credit is great, and it appeared we were approved within minutes, yet we had to continue to sit and sit and wait and wait to wrap up everything with I can only assume was the extended warranty rep. it would have been a really nice gesture to tell us what was going on during all of that time we were waiting. This should have been the easiest sale of the day, yet we were there at the desk for hours. When I picked up the car it was filthy with dust settled in every door seal and the windows had smears all over them. I am not sure how red dust could have been packed into the openings as there is not red dust in our area so only assume it was like that from sitting at the plant or somewhere between. I came back a week or so later to pick up the title and I saw another salesperson who was actually cleaning the windows of the sale he had just made. I was not given the opportunity to fill out the survey at pickup as the salesman filled it in and submitted it. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and with the salesperson. I was just a little disappointed that the car was in such a dirty shape with only several miles on it. More

I knew more about the options on the car than the salesmen. He also had me sign my title for trade without a release of lien letter stating it would be fine. Not fine and did not make trade in. And when we talked with the finance dept., the gentleman whom I forget his name was also extremely thorough about each section he showed us. Kiddos to both men. More

This was a pretty simple transaction that became difficult. We negotiated the deal over the phone as we live in Fort Myers, Florida and would be in Kansas City for 2.5 weeks. Deal was okay and onc difficult. We negotiated the deal over the phone as we live in Fort Myers, Florida and would be in Kansas City for 2.5 weeks. Deal was okay and once made, all we really needed to do was show up and test drive the vehicle and let the dealership access our trade in. Darren and Bob were amiable and responsive to my questions during the negotiation stage. When we showed up to test drive and sign paperwork it took three hours. I understand that Oakes is a high volume dealership, but they knew when we were coming in and the deal was essentially done. Had to wait majority of the time for the paperwork to be done in finance and getting a sales pitch for car insurance by a nice gentleman that ended up not being able to sell us insurance because we lived in Florida. Once in finance, I made it clear that we were not interested in add-ons and Ramzi said we would decline the add-ons but went into a lengthy sales pitch on the extended warranty. Ramzi was amiable as well, but seemed agitated that we didn't give into his sales pitch. Quite honestly, it really doesn't make a new car purchaser feel very comfortable with a $45,000 purchase when the dealership personnel is telling you that the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on the drive train won't include sensors and that there are around 200 sensors on the vehicle we were purchasing. One of the reasons we have bought 3 Hyundais and 3 Kias since 2007 is your class leading warranty. Additionally, we were initially offered 8% interest which we had to negotiate down to 6.75%. We asked for 60 months on the loan, but were given 72 months. I would like to inquire about the blank forms we were asked to sign during the process especially those signing over our rebates to the dealership. Is this normal?? Once done with finance we had to wait two days for the deal to fund to pickup the car since we were out of state which was fine. We setup a date and time with Darren to pickup the vehicle. When we showed up we had to wait another 2 hours because the car was not ready as it needed to be cleaned and gas topped off. At this point, we received one of the two key fobs and was told by Darren that the other key fob would need to be mailed to the DMV in Florida. I resisted, Darren checked on the key fob and said we could pick it up the key fob at the dealership in a couple days. We let Darren know we would be coming in at 10 am on the day we could pickup the 2nd key fob. Upon getting to the dealership Darren led us back to the accounting department and after a good deal of searching for our paperwork we were told that the key fob had been sent to our home address in Florida by UPS and would need to be signed for by someone. Obviously this would not work and we were told by Mary in accounting that she could change the address to show up at the office where we live which ended up not getting done and luckily our neighbor signed for the key fob which we received upon returning home. Upon returning home we went to title the vehicle and ended up with another 1.5 hour wait because of the way our leinholder was listed on the title work. The finance company was listed as Kia Finance America, College Station, TX which the DMV did not have in there system. I called the dealership and left multiple messages, texted Darren and let him know i needed someone to call me to help with the title work. I ended up calling Kia Finance and they indicated that it should be listed as Hyundai Finance America dba Kia Finance America which the DMV found in their system. I ended up receiving a phone call the next afternoon from Darren and someone in accounting. Overall, what should be a seamless transaction turned into a three ring circus. I have had much better dealings with Galeana Kia in Fort Meyers and Northtowne Hyundai in Kansas City. Oakes was very responsive during the negotiation stage but once the deal was in hand customer service went out the window. More

We were at the dealership for about 4 hours and completed purchase of a new vehicle. We were pressured to buy additional things which is typical but still annoying. We had to go back to the dealership severa purchase of a new vehicle. We were pressured to buy additional things which is typical but still annoying. We had to go back to the dealership several times to correct paperwork mistakes, during which time we got conflicting information from different employees which made it clear they did not know their processes. I had to call the dealership to find out our title was ready for pickup, and upon arriving and asking questions about out of state registration an employee was rude and refused to explain how the process worked. Overall not a pleasant buying experience. More
