Dave is my favorite salesman! He figures out what I want and need, and then makes it happen! Doesn't spend time BSing and is realistic in what they can do. He is THE VW guy and I haven't met a person that and need, and then makes it happen! Doesn't spend time BSing and is realistic in what they can do. I found the car I was looking for at Dean Team Volkswagen on an Internet listing and requested a quote and test drive via that web site. I wasn't expecting much of a response as previous experiences using t on an Internet listing and requested a quote and test drive via that web site. I wasn't expecting much of a response as previous experiences using the same methods with other dealers wasn't terribly successful. This time, I received an automated e-mail message almost immediately (it was after closing time) and received a personal e-mail from Dave Shultz the next morning before the dealership even opened, and a test drive appointment was made for that evening. When I arrived that evening for the test drive the car was sitting right in front of the dealership entrance door, washed, and with a "reserved" sign in the window with my name on it. Dave was also in his office ready to go and waiting my arrival. The test drive was informative and the entire interaction that evening was casual and low pressure. By the time I left that evening I had a quote for a very good price in hand and a very reasonable offer on my trade-in. The next day I decided to buy the car and was able to reserve the car through another prompt exchange of e-mails and telephone calls. Delivery was as simple as it could be. Kyle Steinberg ran the paperwork while Dave finished prepping the car. Everything was fast and efficient with no pressure to sell any gimmicks, slip in hidden fees, or changes to the sale terms. All was exactly as we had agreed upon two days before. The paperwork drill could not have taken more than 15 minutes. A refreshing change from other experiences. Dave then ran me through all the key points of the vehicle and I hit the road a happy, satisfied customer. Unlike many dealers at other places, Dave responds quickly by phone or e-mail. Calls were returned within 30 minutes of being left, and e-mail was returned about as rapidly. There was none of the endless unreturned phone call attempts and hours on hold that you often experience at other places. The ease of communication, great pricing, and straightforward low pressure approach made buy the car from Dave and Dean Team VW a great experience. More

I have gone to Dick Dean in Kirkwood for over 15 years (I think I'm on my 6th Volkswagen) and have no reason to go anywhere ever again. Every experience I have at this dealership is always great - whether I'm just getting an oil change or leasing a new car. I have been working with Dave Schultz for the past couple of years and I completely trust him and know I'm always getting a great deal - he is fantastic at his job. I met Kyle Steinberg for the first time yesterday and it felt like I was talking to an old friend from the get-go. I have interacted with the guys back in service (JC and Anthony, I believe) and they are always in a great mood and make me smile. I have two sons who will be driving in a few years, and you better believe I will be bringing them to this dealership for their first cars. Customer (and future customers) for life. I went to the Dean Team with my car that I was already leasing and left with a totally different car. My experience started with Elma, who was so incredibly nice and attentive to my needs. There aren't enough words to say to explain them!! They were SUPER guys. I can honestly say, I will not do business with anyone other than the Dean Team in Kirkwood. My service was just too good to be true. Dave and Kyle "made my day." What great personalities they both have. I feel like, being a woman, trying to make big decisions can be a little intimidating. These two, helped make my experience, non-intimidating and fun. I feel like they bent over backwards to make me happy and they succeeded. These two men deserve a big Bonus!! We purchased a new Jetta in June 2013. We were looking at cars at a number of dealers, including the Jetta at Dean team, and Dean team was our best experience. I had a great experience over the 4th of July weekend buying a new car from Dave Schultz. I initially contacted the Dean Team via e-mail regarding a Tiguan listed at their website. Dave e-mailed me bac buying a new car from Dave Schultz. I initially contacted the Dean Team via e-mail regarding a Tiguan listed at their website. Dave e-mailed me back pretty quickly, provided additional information, and the opportunity to schedule a test drive. My husband and I went to the dealership the next day for the test drive. Unfortunately, the Tiguan was not a comfortable car for me to drive and I was disappointed. But while I was there I asked Dave if they had any station wagons I might look at. He took us out to look at the Jetta Sportwagen TDI and allowed me to test drive that vehicle. GREAT CAR! I loved the car. Dave is extremely knowledgeable about Volkswagens. He can answer just about any question and provide a great deal of useful information. He is NOT a high pressure kind of salesman. He really wanted me to have the right vehicle. He has won many sales awards over the years and it is easy to understand why. He is low key, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I decided to purchase the car. I e-mailed him again and he came into the dealership the next day so that we could complete the deal -- even though he was not actually scheduled to work that day. Coming in on the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend so we could get this done went above and beyond the call. If you are looking for a great vehicle you can't go wrong with VW. And if you are looking for a great sales person you definitely won't go wrong with Dave Schultz. More
