Recently however, we had a baby & I needed a bigger car. The Subaru Ascent was hard to fine post pandemic. What’s a mum to do? We started our search…mini van perhaps? My husband started this fateful day saying “we are NOT leaving this car lot with a new car, we are JUST looking”. Sure I said, no worries. We window shopping. Devin greeted us, and after some discussion he showed us an Odyssey. My husband was not in love… I liked it; but it didn’t have my AWD that I had come to love. Devin was great; usually I’m well prepared & I know what I want. This time, I wasn’t as sure. He said he thought he had the perfect car for us. He pulled out a Honda Pilot…I’ve never heard of it. We went for a test drive and my husband was immediately in love & so was I. It had 3 row seating, ample trunk space, AWD, and extra amenities that I had never thought I needed and now adore. LOL we ended up buying the Pilot that day. (So much for window shopping). The experience of buying the car went smooth. As far as a good deal goes, Honda took care of us. I did not feel taken advantage of, and Devin was really nice. We love our new car! Thank you Devin & Wilde east Honda! More
