Tommy was great! He made everything so easy and fun!. It's beautiful and it was spotless inside and out. When I first sat in the RAV-4, the modern interior and controls seemed like a spaceship cockpit! Tommy spent well over an hour with me showing me how everything worked. He showed me every control. He showed me how the BlueTooth worked, paired my iPhone with the car, and showed me how to access contacts, get text messages read aloud to me by the car, play music, and even make phone calls using the controls on the steering wheel! Top to bottom, he taught me literally every control in the car, from the sunroof to the cargo lights. He was patient, kind and professional. He answered every question I had perfectly, and when I drove off the lot I felt like I had been driving it for years. Amazing customer service! Tommy's a great guy and I could not have been more pleased. He made the paperwork easy, took care of all the DMV stuff for me, and we had fun learning my new car, which I love already! I highly recommend Tommy Wheat and Gloucester Toyota, and I will always be a customer of theirs. More

When I bought the vehicle, I let them know that I would like to take it to my mechanic and have him go through it. When I took it to him, he noticed that the front wheel bearing was worn and should not have passed inspection. So I called the service dept, spoke with Doug and let him know the issue with the front wheel. He told me to bring it by and if that was the issue, your dealership would fix it free of charge. I took it to him last Friday and the service dept corrected the issue, but while driving home I then realized that the steering wheel shook uncontrollably when braking. I took it to a mechanic and he said that the rotors were warped somehow. I called back up there and they said to bring it back up and a mechanic would look at it again. After the mechanic drove the 4runner, he came in and said yes the rotors are warped. I let them know it wasn’t doing it until the vehicle left from the initial issue. Doug came out of his office and from the beginning got defensive, so I went to the front and talked with Brian, because I was looking for an explanation on why/ how this could be. He went to the back and talked with the service dept, then came back to me with the explanation that now the wheel was running “true” with the new bearing , I could feel the warp in the rotor. With Doug not wanting to help at all, I ended up buying some pads from your dealership and leaving. I took the vehicle to my mechanic and he ended up doing the brakes, which ended up being approx $450.00. So I went by this morning to talk to Doug to get some clarification and he just kept talking in circles. He told me that what Brian told me was incorrect. What my mechanic told me was incorrect and that I didn’t realize the steering wheel shimmied when I bought the vehicle, because I was excited and didn’t know the feeling of an issue. My problem is that he talked to me like I was some your kid that has never bought or owned a vehicle , when in fact, I just wanted a reliable vehicle for my 16yr old daughter to drive. Also, if they would’ve done the state inspection correctly, they would’ve seen that the wheel bearing wouldn’t of passed and that if they would’ve fixed that issue then the front brakes wouldn’t have passed because of the drivability of the vehicle. And if that’s the case then I wouldn’t have bought a vehicle, to put my daughter in, if we had known the issues unless the dealership would’ve fixed it. More
