Duane was the man who interacted with me. He was courteous and took the time to give the whole car a quick check such as lights, rust, and an overview of dings. This car was a 2004 Corolla that came in for a recall about the airbags. I can't think of any way he could have been more of a gentleman or more helpful to me while I waited in the room for other car customers. The amenities provided there were exceptional, also. I made an appointment with Rudy Luther's service department because the check engine, VCS off and traction control lights had come on in my car a few days prior. When I called to ask some questions department because the check engine, VCS off and traction control lights had come on in my car a few days prior. When I called to ask some questions about the lights, the technician I spoke with was friendly and informative, and explained their procedure for assessing the cause of the warning lights. He arranged for a rental car for me, as I had to leave my car but continue on to work. Duane called me about two hours after I dropped off the car to tell me it was finished. He also had the good news that the cause of the problem was an issue Toyota was aware of, the fix was relatively quick, and I would not be charged. In addition, they took care of a recent recall item for my particular model year. All service personnel were friendly and courteous, and I was pleased to pick up my freshly washed car! I had a great experience, and will certainly return for any future service needs. More

When I got there I was intending to get a transmission fluid change. Duane informed me that I did not need one and that i had already done this. Great. I did ask to have them check the brakes and also replace a burned out light behind one of my dash fan controls. They did the break inspection and they said they were fine. They did not replace the light that was burned out that I requested to get done. Not sure why. More

Greetings Mark and RL Staff. This is my third 4Runner and it is one fantastic truck. 1999 SR5 with 205,000 miles. I bought it in 2005 with 68,000 miles off your lot. I still think this year and this truc and it is one fantastic truck. 1999 SR5 with 205,000 miles. I bought it in 2005 with 68,000 miles off your lot. I still think this year and this truck is the best all around SUV ever built with great performance, ride, looks, interior comfort, durability and vision from the driver's seat. MPG +23 in summer with V6. And the electric rear window has always been my favorite. And I can still get it serviced and have had it serviced nearly exclusively and regularly at RL Golden Valley. I trust your people and your work. I plan to get 300,000 miles from this vehicle. I brought the truck in last Thursday Dec 19 for four things. Duane was outstanding and helped me check in the vehicle. 1-Oil and filter. 2-Brakes sticking. 3-Check engine light on/off and rough idle. 4-Balance and rotate tires as I felt a shimmy at 68-70 mph. Whew, $1,700 later and at end of Thursday, I had fresh oil and filter, rear brakes and seals, the oxygen sensor replaced and tires rotated and balanced. Duane even showed me the existing greasy rear brakes/seals so I could see the leakage before I authorized replacement. It was obvious, greasy brakes. OK. My report is that the truck idles like a champ, the brakes are working great, I trust the oil and filter are lubing and filtering. But I still feel the shimmy at 68-70. Tires are brand new Good Year Wranglers. I always loved the smooth ride of this vehicle, this shimmy bugs me. What can we do? Did the balance get done right? Is it a bad tire? I brought the car for the recalls. I asked also to look at the muffler holes(water was dripping out of them and bubbles, and gas). Also look at the transmission not shifted properly. Customer service and friendliness were the best (uncommon, so very nice surprise!) through the dealerships, but not enough to make customer satisfied.) Since I was told recall will take 4-5 hours!!! I took a shuttle. Shuttle drivers were great, punctual and friendly. Duane, was very nice and understanding. When I was picking up the car - I was told that NOTHING was done to it and no issues discovered! It seams to me that tech didn't want to spend time to look at the car. Holes in the muffler were very pronounced. Transmission acted up when I drove of the lot. So I really do not see how tech could have not seen them. In their defense i was asking to look for my issues for free while they are looking on the recalls. But I was expecting more from the dealership. I am most disappointed for the loss of time. I will have to spend another 1-2 hours to diagnose my problems somewhere else. More
