Three hours to do an oil change and change a tire? And, then, I was told it would be $150 to do a diagnosis on a bent seat track. It wouldn't be $150 to fix the problem. It would be $150 to determine why the seat wouldn't slide forward or backwards. I know exactly what happened and why the seat couldn't be adjusted. The last time I had a oil change, the technician slammed the seat back and it has never worked since. Why should I pay $150 to fix something an employee of Jenkins broke? I'm 4'11", 77 years old, and live alone. My seat had never been adjusted until I brought it to Jenkins. Obviously, most men are taller and can't fit behind the wheel when the seat is on my setting. So, he had to adjust it. That's understandable. But, there's no need to slamm it back and bend the track that the seat slides on. Even at that, if he broke it accidentally.....fix it! More

For the last 14! years we have purchased cars and had car service with Jenkins of Lakeland as we were treated well and service was thorough and efficient . We live in Valrico so this is a distance to travel . Due to COVID I have not been back until this past Wednesday as I had a Nissan recall for my ABS system to be checked. I have always trusted Jenkins Nissan of Lakeland to take good care of me and my car.I called made an appointment for this recall service and was told it may take 4- 4 1-2 hrs. At no time was I told details of the inspection needed to assess my car and that the part would have to be ordered per vin number. All this is acceptable if explained but never was . I received a call stating call me back by Gil the service rep. I had to call 4 times waiting on hold 10-20minutes and when someone said they would locate him I was on hold 35 minutes . Gil was very cavalier about my wait time and acted like it was no big deal for them to order the part and I would have to be scheduled again to fix the recall issue. He stated my wait was because he had to fly around the shop to put out fires . He should have explained this to me when I dropped the car off about returning and been more polite when speaking with me. As a result I will never return to this Jenkins Nissan. I had to ask for a manager to get the real explanation of how this appointment should have gone . There was a lot of talking in circles . You may not really care but this type of interaction is poor business . More

I waited 3 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake flush that I was told 45 minutes max. When I asked at the 3 hour mark a status update, they only had done the oil change. I asked about the tir brake flush that I was told 45 minutes max. When I asked at the 3 hour mark a status update, they only had done the oil change. I asked about the tire rotation and the tech said “oh I forgot we were doing that”. I just got my car back and left. Give your money elsewhere. More
