We sent 20 emails to dealerships specifying the GMC vehicle we wanted. Nate Rameaka's response and follow up was vastly superior to all of the other responses. He found the truck we wanted at reasonable price. His commitment to excellence was obvious and he made the process easy and enjoyable. Gates is about three hours from my home but Nate, his associates, and the overall dealership made the trip worthwhile. The actual delivery was handled by Jimmy Satalino who answered my questions and sent us on our way as totally satisfied customers.Over thirty years ago while working for IBM I had occasion to work with Tom Peters, the co-author of "In Search of Excellence". The book is a compilation of interviews with executives of companies held in high esteem. One of the interviews was with the owner of the Louisville Cardinals, the first team in the history of professional baseball to draw over a million fans. When asked how that happened the owner replied, "Clean rest rooms." Gates rest rooms are immaculate and that same excellence is apparent and seems to permeate every facet of the dealership. Gates is the model for excellence in automotive/truck dealerships. I left the dealership knowing the Gate's search for excellence is a non-stop ongoing process. "Found a way to make it work for us"

I bought a car from jimmy 4 years ago, and when my wife's car was at the end of it's life I went right back to him. We don't have perfect credit, and from the beginning we didn't feel like that was going to be an issue. We got a fair price for our trade and drive away with a new 17 Nissan Rogue 2 days later. The headache of the old car is gone. And I thank Chris messier for all his help and jimmy Sattalino for all the time he put into making a reasonable deal come to fruition for us. We're still happy about our decision.
