Mall of Georgia Ford STOLE from us. On April 25th, 2020 we went to Mall of Georgia Ford at 4525 Nelson Brogdon Blvd in Buford. We spent 4 hours there trying to purchase a 2015 F150. We were initially told we went to Mall of Georgia Ford at 4525 Nelson Brogdon Blvd in Buford. We spent 4 hours there trying to purchase a 2015 F150. We were initially told there were a few problems verifying our funds with different banks, however after a while the sales representative came back and said we were funded! We signed the paperwork for our current vehicle, a 2012 F 150, to be traded in and then finished signing the paperwork for our new vehicle, the 2015 F150. We left that day with our new truck. Then, on May 5th, 2020, I received a call from the dealership stating they were going to have to unwind the deal because funding had fallen through. This meant that we would need to return the truck and take our vehicle back. Of course, we complied. When my husband arrived home with our truck, he told me that all the weather floor mats were missing as well as an entire fog lamp. Furthermore, the light bulb in the remaining fog light was replaced with a different light. We had LED yellow lights in both fog lights. We also noticed that we were missing a screw/nut that holds the jack in place underneath the rear seat. I sent this list to our sales person SEAN MOONEY, but received no response. Prior to sending that email I called the dealership and spoke with KEVIN in finance who said he would look into all of this and call me back. After waiting all day for Kevin to call me back, I called the dealership back 15 minutes prior to closing time and spoke with a sales manager named DENNIS. DENNIS said he would look at the pictures from the trade in and call me back the next day. Dennis also informed me that he spoke with SEAN who confirmed they do recall that our truck had floor mats so they would get that taken care of. May 6th around 12:30 I had still yet to receive a call from any one, so I called the dealership for an update. The receptionist told me that Dennis was off as well as KEVIN and SEAN. These are the same representatives who were supposed to give me an update the following day. On May 7th, I still had not received a call, so I called around 2:30 and expressed to SEAN that I was not happy. It should not take 2 days to look at photos of our truck and see that the fog lamp was there. SEAN expressed that he understood my frustration. He informed me that they wanted to wait for a similar F150 to be traded in and that they would then send me pictures of the floor mats to see if we wanted them. Unfortunately, at this point, I feel like there is absolutely no way I can trust their intentions. Their actions have been nothing short from unacceptable and unprofessional. Someone removed the property from our vehicle and it needs to be replaced. I was told the information would be forwarded and how I felt would be conveyed to the managers and I would get a call back. Needless to say, I never received a phone call from anyone. This time, I called back and I spoke with DENIS to express to him how unhappy I was. He stated that they would order new mats for us. And I repeatedly reminded them that they needed to view the photos for the fog lamp. At this time, the story changes and Denis was telling me that there were no pictures taken. Instead, I am told that our truck was only sent to clean up prior to being taken to an auction and it didn't go through reconditioning. I let him know that it is not my problem that they did not take photos. DENIS said that my next step would be to speak with the GENERAL SALES MANAGER, MATTHEW GETTYS aka MATT. I explained the entire situation all over again and Matt's response to me was that they could order floor mats for us. When I inquired about our Fog Light, his response was that we would not be getting a fog lamp from them and that he is not obligated to do anything for us. I told him that if I had to, I would be filing a police report for theft and his response was that if I wanted our floor mats that I shouldn't do that. I told him that I wanted to speak to the General Manager of the dealership but he replied back to me that is what they hired me for. I stated that I needed to speak to the General Manager, JEFF WESSELS. His response was “good luck with that!” and he hung up on me. DO NOT BUY from these crooks. They hold no accountability. They could easily view their camera footage and see what was taken from my truck and simply order replacement parts for what was taken from our truck! More
