Ive heard horror stories about people being at dealerships almost all day. It was my first time leasing. John (the leasing manager) explained very throughly the difference between leasing and buying. Friendly, non-pushy buying experience with Jerry My husband and I came in on 1/2/17 to look for me a used car. I had seen a used vehicle advertised online that was at Jennings. I called to enquire about the vehicle and come for a test drive. That car had just sold. So, I told them I wanted to come down anyway to see what they had similar in stock. When I got there, Jerry Perberg tried hard to stay within my desired price range and didn't try to "upsell" me. I test drove a vehicle and passed on it. Jerry was working hard to find me another vehicle in my price range to test drive. He went to get the stock list. While waiting, my husband and I started playing around in the showroom and sat in one of the vehicles----we loved it. It was above the price range we started with, and, it was a NEW car. However, the price was good. We asked Jerry for a test drive and were pleased with the car. Jerry gave us time to think, talk to each other, and make sure it was what we wanted. He wasn't pushy or rushing. They gave us sodas. He wanted to make sure we didnt feel "upsold" or anything like that. We assured him that we "upsold" ourselves because he hadn't even showed us that car LOL. We bought the car and are happy. Its a comfy ride for my long commute. Jerry will work with you. EZ Car buying! Unfortunately, I was in the market for two vehicles and have been searching and searching for about 4 weeks. Between visiting various dealerships and Unfortunately, I was in the market for two vehicles and have been searching and searching for about 4 weeks. Between visiting various dealerships and internet searching, the process was becoming exhausting and frustrating. I located 2 vehicles that I was interested at Jennings. I am familiar with Jennings as I have had service work completed there on my former vehicles. I initially started my search at Jennings but was very set on buying two vehicles from the same location to make it very easy for myself. Thanks to Jennings, I ended my search there as well. I was introduced to Jerry and he couldn't have been more helpful and understanding of the situation. He was the first salesman I encountered that knew what my intentions were and was really willing to work with me. Other places and sales people I met in my journey were less than helpful and one particular dealership was downright deplorable. Jerry made himself available, he answered all my questions and treated me with the utmost respect, he made me feel that my business was appreciated and welcomed. Ray, the sales manager, also was very helpful and accommodating and very upfront. Davis in Finance made it easy and quick. Overall, I have had nothing but a positive experience with everyone from service to sales. I have already recommended Jerry to others that I know that may be in the market for a vehicle. I will continue to support Jennings by using the service department and I hope to continue to give them all my future car buying business. Thank you Jerry for everything! More
