Upon first contact with the dealer I will state they seemed friendly. They were willing to stay up until closing and even a few minutes after closing which made the possibility of looking at the car con seemed friendly. Upon taking delivery of the car Jesse asked if “we did right by you” If I had known how he would act when I would bring up an issue with the car just a week later…I may not have nodded my head. The few items that I had an issue with were address upon buying the car with the exception of the tires. They (sales and service) stated multiple times that the tires, even though noisy, were fine and would have no issues of safety or passing inspection. The story was much different when I was going through my states safety inspection. Upon inspection the garage was surprised they allowed the car to leave a dealership without removing them for new tires. I called my salesperson from the inspection station and informed him of this. He stated he was very sorry, that his tech told him the tires were fine and measure at 6/32nds. I informed him that only on the very shoulder of the tires did they measure 5 (not 6) 32nds and the tires were dry rotted. He was very apologetic for all of this and that he would correct this issue. It might mean having to drive back to the dealer though. I agreed that wouldn’t be a problem and I would be willing to do this. However, this is where things became ugly. I followed up with Al after returning home from the Volvo Owners weekend in Vermont to him recanting his offer to replace the tires. I was then instructed to speak with Jesse, the manager. Our discussion at first seemed to be going pleasantly, however, when I questioned him on not replacing the tires since not only are they not at the 6/32nds, but they are also full of dry rot the conversation took a turn for the worst. The level of attitude and unprofessionalism was almost unbelievable. The language, the name calling, the slurs were at times a bit comical since I was more than willing to work with them. However, it seemed to me this wasn’t the first time they’ve had to defend a car they sold - the level of protest was all too much. I was more disappointed since the work they had done to the car had to be corrected by my garage since it wasn't fully fixed. A bunch of phone calls and emails later I was finally transferred to the owner of the dealership. The owner of the dealer replied to my comment about the shoddy work to the effect of: all dealers are out to charge as much as they can for service work. Meaning my dealer was just trying to overcharge me. After hearing this come out of his mouth I knew he not only didn’t he care about his dealer’s reputation that bears his name, but he cared even less since I live 2 states away. It’s truly disappointing I had to deal with this since I was incredibly thrilled with buying a new to me Volvo that I have wanted for some time now. They had promoted and advertised a rare Volvo that was in excellent condition and the price reflected it. Yes the car was clean and seemed to be well taken care of; however, the car I ended up with was not what they represented it to be. And they knew it. It’s truly disappointing that they felt OK with themselves to do this to someone-even more so since they touted being big on family and fair treatment. More

Owned a Volvo XC90 before. Great car-experience. When searching for an XC90 with low mileage, we were so lucky getting in contact with Kundert Volvo on Hasbrouck Hights, and their representative Jesse G searching for an XC90 with low mileage, we were so lucky getting in contact with Kundert Volvo on Hasbrouck Hights, and their representative Jesse Garrett. He made a very good impression. Professional, friendly and accomodating. They immediately notified us when they had a model available of the type we demanded, and it showed up to be just the car we wanted. It was well maintained, low mileage, and a reasonable price. The sales process was smooth and friendly, and the company held us up-dated all over. Getting the Title document of the vehicle from the NY State´s authorities in Albany took some time, but the company supplied us with temporary registration plates all the period, so our driving was not interrupted. Later in the process Al Albrizio was assisting, also doing a great job. We can on the strongest recommend Kundert Volvo and their representatives. Tor. Manhattan. More

I recently purchased a pre-owened xc90 from Kundert Volvo in Hasbrouck Heights. The entire experience was great from start to finish. The car was exactly as advertised and there was no pressure at all when we were at the dealership. The pricing and negotiation process were fair from the start. The car has been great for us. I was recently in the market for a used car and found one on the internet that met my needs so I decided to inquire about it. This is obviously pretty standard protocol for on-line shopping however it is a l on the internet that met my needs so I decided to inquire about it. This is obviously pretty standard protocol for on-line shopping however it is a little different being that I am from Tennessee and the dealership was in New Jersey. I have had experience purchasing cars on the internet from different states so I was expecting the normal...some people take you serious...some people don't. I had narrowed my search down to three different cars (in three different states) and had already inquired about the other two and even completed a credit application with one to show I was serious. Once I contacted Jesse and Al, I was blown away by the honesty and straight forward approach that they took with my inquiry. They were professional, honest, and up front about the vehicle. I never felt there was a hidden agenda...Just facts about the car and the process. Within 10 minutes of talking with them, I had decided to put a deposit on the car and fill out a credit application. Within 30 minutes I received a call back with a great rate (better than a previous quote by almost 3%) and EXACT figures including payment which I had never experienced in my other purchases. We agreed on a time that I would fly in and i sent the necessary paperwork needed to complete the deal. When I arrived at the airport in Newark Jesse met me coming off of the escalator and took me to the dealership. It was a very nice ride with very little discussion about the car and mostly about the state and other interesting facts....like I was an old friend. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was shown the car which I would have rated much higher than they did...they are much more thorough with their ratings than me...and I am picky as well! It was a 10 out of 10 both inside and out. Al then took me inside to complete the paperwork which was well organized and I was seriously ready to go in 15 minutes (I have spent more time in a grocery store to pick up a few items). There were no ups selling techniques, hidden fees, or additional add ons. It was the most non pressured situation I have ever experienced buying a car. I left the dealership and drove almost 900 miles and 16 hours (through the night). The car was amazing a ran incredible on the way home. If you are looking for a up front, honest group of people to deal with long distance...I highly recommend the people that i had the pleasure of working with. This is by far the BEST experience I have ever had buying a car and will be the first place I look when the time comes for me to get another one. I would not hesitate to buy a car from them if you are in the market. More

Went looking to upgrade from our Chevy to a Volvo and had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jesse Garrett. From the beginning he was friendly, straight forward and honest. The experience as a whole was very low pressure and extremely professional. Jesse took the time to get to know us and work with us to find the right fit for our family. We purchased a 2010 XC70 for a fair and reasonable price and are very happy. From beginning to end it was actually a fun, pleasant and painless process. I would highly recommend Jesse and Kundert Volvo to anyone looking at either new or pre-owned vehicles. This will be the first place we stop when we need a vehicle in the future. More

Had an amazing experience buying my 2012 Volvo S60 from the great team of Jesse and Al. I drove from CT to NJ to buy the car and was in and out.
