From purchase to service my experience has been awful. They will tell you whatever you want to hear and take it back later. They add interest to your loan for themselves without telling you. ZakTeck paint They will tell you whatever you want to hear and take it back later. They add interest to your loan for themselves without telling you. ZakTeck paint protection is a scam, Google it before purchasing. Been waiting for a call back for a month for a refund on the paint protection since I will not be using it due to a move across country and it has to be done at this dealer. never got a call back, only phone calls to purchase my car so I can get another used one that downgrades me from the car I just purchased. No one there knows what they are doing. Service is not actually done, they didn’t change my oil or complete a multi point inspection they said was done. However my filters need replaced and they didn’t mention that at all. Since they cannot complete the most basic service, an inspection, I will and recommend never trusting them with your vehicle. They most likely let things go in hopes the vehicle repairs later cause the owner to get a new car. This customer service has turned me away from ever buying another Toyota again. More

After over a week of shopping on CarGurus, I found what I was looking for at Camelback Toyota. I spoke to the internet sales manager Ryan who assured me the truck had gone through Toyota’s 150 point inspecti was looking for at Camelback Toyota. I spoke to the internet sales manager Ryan who assured me the truck had gone through Toyota’s 150 point inspection. The next day Amanda drove the vehicle to my home for a test drive. The first thing I noticed is that the aftermarket key fob wasn’t functioning properly which I mentioned to Amanda. Before leaving my driveway I checked to make sure the 4WD functioned properly which it did not. I test drove the truck and everything else seemed in order. After returning home I noticed a hose clamp around one of mounts for the tailgate, and that the tailgate soft open wasn’t functioning properly which I also mentioned to Amanda. Later that night (Saturday, Oct 15th) Ryan, zealous to make a deal called and said they were going to push the deal through and have the truck to me the next day with paperwork to sign along with all the issues fixed I’d discovered throughout the test drive. The next day the only call I received from Camelback was from finance trying to push the deal through. I got irritated because I wanted the fixes in writing and proof of the 150 point inspection because at this point I was obviously suspect that one had not been done. Fast forward into the following week and all I kept getting was dodged calls and texts to answer if all the issues had been ironed out. Finally Wed afternoon I got in touch with a director who told me the 4WD wasn’t operating correctly and they’d ordered an actuator to fix it...Amanda wouldn’t admit to this but kept making excuses why whe wasn’t able to deliver the truck in the days prior. Thursday the 22nd Amanda showed up nearly 2 hours late at 6:45 pm to pick up my trade in and drop off the Tundra I was buying. I asked several times if all the issues were worked out but wasn’t given any proof of the 150pt inspection. The next day I noticed the remote start was working but the driver door would not lock or unlock using the key fob. I also saw that the hose clamp was still on the tailgate mount and that it clearly wasn’t operating correctly. Fast forward a week and a trip to Tucson I notice that the front tires were wearing terribly on the outside shoulders. I parked the truck on level ground I could visibly see the alignment was out no less than 1” from top to bottom. At this point I also noticed that both upper ball joint boots are cracked and leaking grease. I took the truck in to get a new grill installed as per the contract agreement and asked about the key fob, tailgate and alignment and ball joints. The grill was installed and alignment done, the service manager told me the tailgate wasn’t in the contract even after I had Amanda add it to the IOU list. He had the hose clamp taken off which was clearly a bandaid for the underlying issue. He also told me that I’d have to go to a shop to get the fob fixed. Completely dissatisfied and irate, at this point I knew I’d been taken and that this truck had never been through an inspection: tires out of alignment, tailgate held together by a hose clamp, 4WD not operating correctly, balljoints needing attention and key fob not functioning correctly...what about the engine, transmission, transfer case, rear differential and all their fluids and wear this inspection is suppose to pick up on? All while trying to contact a manager or director to address the issues, my credit union started reaching out to me about payment for my trade in. I was told 10 days for payoff when going over the finance contract. Today, Nov 17th having had my payment information from Toyota financial for 1.5 weeks for the new loan, my trade in has finally been paid off, 26 days after signing the contract for the new vehicle?? I’ve tried every avenue to get the issues on the new truck fixed with no response. I believe Toyota has their dealerships conduct inspections for peace of mind to the consumer and to uphold their reputation of quality. It appears Camelback uses this to their advantage without actually conducting the service/repairs. I thought buying from Toyota because of extensive inspection would be the best option. As it turns out, I’m the one finding all the issues that would’ve been rectified at a reputable Toyota dealership. Completely disgusted. More

I am very disappointed with my recent purchase experience of a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota and subsequent service from Camelback Toyota. It all started with difference in the price of the vehicle from what I of a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota and subsequent service from Camelback Toyota. It all started with difference in the price of the vehicle from what I signed with the sales person and what finance presented to me. Camelback Toyota delivered the vehicle with a large area of clear coat missing on the driver’s door, and has not been fixed. When the vehicle would not start, the towing provider with Toyota Care damaged the front spoiler because he had the back wheels raised too high. No one with any authority has contacted me about these issues. The salesperson told me that they would fix the clear coat, but nothing has been done and I still have a vehicle with a door that looks terrible. It makes me wonder if the door was repainted and if the dealership may be hiding facts. Additionally, my front spoiler damaged by their tow truck driver remains damaged and not repaired. Overall, I remain very disappointed with Camelback Toyota. More
