I recently purchased a 2011 VW Jetta Sportswagen TDI from this dealer. The salesperson, David Brown, was very straight forward and honest. We made the deal over the phone as they were closing on a Sunday n this dealer. The salesperson, David Brown, was very straight forward and honest. We made the deal over the phone as they were closing on a Sunday night and several employees stayed to complete the process after hours, including the hour drive it took us to get there. During the purchase, we noticed some slight scratching on the paint and the driver's side back window made a terrible noise when rolling down. The service department, Joerg Kuehni in particular, has been very professional, honest, and friendly and has taken care of all issues in an expedited manner. I would definitely recommend this dealership for the respectful way they treat their customers. Oh, and by the way, I LOVE MY TDI!! More

Dropped by for state inspection and reported an issue with the steering. They quickly found the issue and advised it was under warranty. Unfortunately I have to have the work done at a different dealer with the steering. They quickly found the issue and advised it was under warranty. Unfortunately I have to have the work done at a different dealer since I'm temporarily working out of state. I love that they have free WiFi and a space for me to work. The service advisors here are always friendly and honest in my experience. More

needed an oil change and tire pressure light on. Called and scheudled service. Due to conflict with work needed to reschedule 2 days before appointment and they were accomaditing in getting me in at a tim and scheudled service. Brought my vehicle in and they took me promptly with a smile and friendly service. Gave me an expected wait time and was done signifcantly shorter time than was told. They topped it off by washing and vacuuming my Routan... Not only will I recommend them to everyone I know looking for a Volkswagen; will never bring my car anywhere else for service. I had my Vehicle serviced for routine work, oil filter, oil change ect. I found the work compleated in a timely and professional manner. I also had a problem with a part that broke outside my warranty of 3 oil change ect. I found the work compleated in a timely and professional manner. I also had a problem with a part that broke outside my warranty of 3 year 36000 miles. I had a left rear window stop functioning and John had it fixed under a special warranty program for parts just outside the warranty range. This was a 200 dollar service repair compleated for free. No hassel, no paper work, I brought my car in and had it back and on the road an hour and a half latter.I definatly found my service expeariance to be above and beyond my expectations. Great job!! More

While visiting Charlotte, I encountered car trouble....a dead battery and possibly electronic problems. Since the event occurred on a Sat. night, I had to remain in Charlotte for an additional night and dead battery and possibly electronic problems. Since the event occurred on a Sat. night, I had to remain in Charlotte for an additional night and have my Eos towed on Monday morning to the dealership. When my car arrived at VW of South Charlotte, I was taken care of and on the road within an hour. They were friendly and very efficient. A stressful situation turned out well. More

I've worked with John in service and Josh Hines (tech) several times in the past and have never been let down. John always keeps me updated on what's being done with the car or if there are any hiccups t several times in the past and have never been let down. The quality of the work done by Josh (who always works on my car) has always been top notch. Very happy with the service received from this dealership and would recommend them to anyone with a VW. VW of South Charlotte is great. Everyone there was very friendly, and the main employees I worked with (John Schmidt and Josh Hines) were great guys and fixed the problem with my car. The entire experience with John Schmidt and VW South was excellent. The bar has now been raised! I could not have asked to have been treated any more professionally than I was by John. When John was busy with another customer (when I was picking up my car), another gentleman stepped up and was also excellent in his professional handling of my situation. Both guys wanted to make sure I had no questions about my bill or any of the work that was done. Even the cashier was excellent. She made sure I had no questions before I paid. You could tell that she personally cared that I was satisfied with her team's performance and my satisfaction before I paid. The entire experience was excellent.
