My Review of Byers Toyota:
The customer service is like non other at Byers. When I was a kid I can remember my dad taking me along to purchase his boat of a car and the salesman offering us sodas. I guess "Mo" Mike Ohler has that old school mentality. I was astounded when he offered me a soda to drink during my buying process. Not only that, but Mo knew what he was doing and got the ball rolling. I didn't buy right away as I wanted to negotiate the pricing and Mo understood that. His patience was excellent. Mo knew that going to the grass roots of customer service is what it's about - not pressuring, and allowing me to feel as comfortable as possible.
The quality of work was excellent and precise. There was nothing hidden and I did not feel pressured. Matt Darling was great in the finance department. Everything was in order and correct. A few months later I even purchased an extended vehicle warranty due to the reseach I had done. Understand this, my wife has a Honda and they also make great vehicles. Honda Marysville told us the Toyota extended warranty plan is HANDS DOWN the best there is. This came from the finance manager at Honda Marysville! He even suggested that I get it! So I did.
It ceratinly makes a difference when people seem to enjoy their job and know what they're doing. The friendliness of ALL the staff at Byers Toyota was great. I even found out that the truck I bought was owned by the service agent, Josh Lewis. Josh had installed an aftermarket electronic braking box and said he still had the instuction manual to it. Josh actually brought it in and gave it to me the week after buying the truck! It would have been very easy for him not to care, but he did.
My overall experience with the dealership was above and beyond excellent. I have referred several of my friends to this dealership who have purchased Toyota vehicles and will continue to do so as long as Byers Toyota continues to make customer service number one.
