Hello! I have grown up and lived in South County my whole life, and being that I am part owner here at Sunset Ford, this community and business has become my life. I am here to help however I can. So whether it be a Service, Parts, Body Shop or Sales related questions or concerns, I can help. I am also passionate in the Accessory and Aftermarket business. As far as when I have spare time outside of work, you will find me working on my personal old trucks, or spending time with my family, wife and 2 girls, either down at Suson Park, Grants Farm, or at the Lake. My goals here at work are to carry on our family traditions in running a local business for over 111 years in the same location. I had my first Ford vehicle serviced at this place over 10 years ago, and the service was excellent. So, I decided to bring it back for a faulty headlight replacement/repair on 2.12.24. It seemed like a si 10 years ago, and the service was excellent. So, I decided to bring it back for a faulty headlight replacement/repair on 2.12.24. It seemed like a simple fix, but as of now, I still don't have my car back. During the first week, the technician was out sick, and the following week they needed to run diagnostics and troubleshoot. I informed the service person, Mike, that I needed my vehicle back by 2.26.24 due to prior commitments. I even told him that if he wasn't 100% sure that the vehicle would be ready by then, I would gladly pay for the part and come back at a later time as the car was needed for transportation. Mike assured me that he would work on it. However, it's now 2.27.24, and Mike is not returning my phone calls even though he has my car. I am disappointed, and to be honest, a little embarrassed. The place is good for oil changes like the review says, but I wouldn't recommend getting trapped like I did. Update: After Mike at Sunset called me back, he agreed to return my car to me. We scheduled the repair to be done a week later. When the day arrived for the repair to be completed, he gave me a rental car to use while mine was being worked on. They replaced the wire harness and fixed the recall issue. I got my car back on the same day. In the end, Mike made the situation right, and I am grateful for his help. More
