My husband and I were looking to purchase a car to tow behind our RV, either new or gently used. The different dealerships we went to, the representatives were either too pushy, under-enthusiastic or s behind our RV, either new or gently used. The different dealerships we went to, the representatives were either too pushy, under-enthusiastic or seemed almost desperate for a sale. We had 4 criteria that had to be met before we even test drove a vehicle. 1- driver comfort and space both front and back 2- flat tow-able with manual transmission 3- 4 doors 4- Fuel economy When we entered the dealership at Harris Kia, Christine Wright met us with enthusiasm and a vibrant personality. Once we gave her our criteria she immediately told us that the Kia Soul 2U would fill all our needs. Christine showed us the entry level Soul. The 2 other level Souls did not meet the criteria, even though we would have bought either of them. During our test drive my husband and I were impressed enough with the vehicle that we knew we were going to buy it. We explained to Christine that we wanted to test drive other cars and we needed to talk about the Kia Soul. We went to two other dealerships and realized we wanted the 2013 Soul 2U. From the time we walked onto the lot the first time, left and then came back, and we started the paperwork was 2 hours. Each of the employees we interacted with, we found them knowledgeable, friendly and the kind of employee a company would want. The pleasure of dealing with Christine and all the staff, I have recommended Harris Kia to everyone and anyone who wanted to hear. The day we brought the Soul home we ordered a tow package, have had it installed, and we are no longer "stranded" after we set up camp. It is a pleasure to park and go. My sister was so impressed with our Soul 2U that we bought in June, that she bought a Soul 2U mid-level today, 27 August, after only one test drive of any car. She had her heart was set on another brand, test drove a Soul 4U to pacify me, and bought herself the mid-level style. Again all it took was two hours of time. Now we need to keep our keys marked, my husband and I have the Titanium Grey and my sister bought the Ruby red. We are now the "Soul Sisters", (really). Right from the begging he was so engaging and he did not pressure me in any way. I especially do not like to be pressured by car salesman. He told the truth about everything, his honesty and personality and all the above qualities makes him an asset to your fine company, you are very lucky to have him on your team. When he heard that I was to have extensive surgery he even mailed me a wrapped gift. I chose to buy my Rondo from Harris Kia because, after canvassing all other dealerships in town, I had a really good feeling about the people, friendliness and service at Harris Kia. I have been incredib canvassing all other dealerships in town, I had a really good feeling about the people, friendliness and service at Harris Kia. I have been incredibly well treated by the service people there. Mike and Kolbi in service are always honest, friendly, and explain things well. i trust them Implicitly:) Teri in parts is also very knowledgeable and a real "behind the scenes" support. Alan, the shuttle driver is prompt, courteous and always friendly and entertaining.I haven't met Christine in the service booking and follow up department, yet-but her phone manner is wonderful and she is very efficient. I am SO happy that i chose KIA and i continue to tell friends and neighbors and suggest that they go there, too! Sincere thank you to my team at KIA from a very happy customer:) More

I've purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership now and have used them for regular maintenance of my first vehicle and will again for the new vehicle. I'm most impressed with their customer service and fr have used them for regular maintenance of my first vehicle and will again for the new vehicle. I'm most impressed with their customer service and friendliness. I was in a motor vehicle accident with my first Kia and it happened right outside of there location just after I had a part fixed in the shop. They came out across the street to make sure I was ok and they drove me home since my car was not drivable. They let me try out a Sorento over night so I had a way of getting around and got a feel for the car to know whether it was the right one for me. It was great. And they made the transfer to a different car so simple and not stressful. I had enough stress at that time, so all their help really got me through hard times. We have bought 2 kia cars from Harris Kia- in 2011- a Kia Forte 5 and in 2012 a Sorrento 4 cyl- we dealt in sales with Roy and Grant - subsequently we thought the Forte was using too much gas so Dave Bare, t Forte 5 and in 2012 a Sorrento 4 cyl- we dealt in sales with Roy and Grant - subsequently we thought the Forte was using too much gas so Dave Bare, the General Manager took it upon himself to work with me to ensure it was meeting standards- I was amazes- almost to the exact published standards- what dedication. The Service Personnel are great and have met our needs to 100% expectations. A person worth mentioning as a qualified knowledgeable person is the parts person, Teri, who has a real ability to spec excellent tires- both our vehicles have new snow tires and Teri picked them right on- what a huge difference in stability as we move back and forth from Parksville to Nanaimo and back almost every day. Teri's partner at the parts desk is also extremely helpful.
