I hate buying and selling cars however, I was pleasantly surprised at Kia in Nanaimo. Christine was so enthusiastic and I actually enjoyed the experience and the price was very competitive. I bought my Sorento SX a year ago from Harris Kia. Since then, all my experiences with the service department are excellent. Especially Mike House is a very experienced and accomodating Manager. I actually feel like at home when I come in for my regular service. Also, Kolbi is very nice,she has always a friendly smile on her face. But the whole staff seems to be very happy, friendly and really motivated. I only can recommend this dealership to others. I for sure will purchase my next vehicle from here again. As for the Sorento, I love this vehicle and definitely will stick with the same model once I decide to get a new one. Thanks again....Herb Schwan More

Newly arrived from the UK and rather overwhelmed at number of dealerships along the Highway, we went to Harris Kia as we had seen a used car on their website that we wanted to test drive. Rachel came o number of dealerships along the Highway, we went to Harris Kia as we had seen a used car on their website that we wanted to test drive. Rachel came out and introduced herself as we were looking around and took us for a test drive. Having found out a bit about our needs etc she suggested that a new car may well fit our requirements better especially with 0% finance. She showed us a 2013 Sorento which we fell in love with but decided to go home and do a bit more research on Internet. We found it was available with beige leather ( one in showroom was black) and rang her the next day to see if she could get one in beige with a sunroof. She said she would find out and rang back very quickly to tell us they had that exact car in their compound!! RJ sorted out the finance, which was not easy being new to the country but he said right from the start that " he would make it work" for us. We have never come across such helpful staff in a car dealership, always very pushy in the UK which tends to make you want to walk away. Rachel was very friendly and extremely knowledgable and gave us a very detailed test drive showing off all the cars potential but was never trying to be pushy towards a sale. She introduced us to the service staff and Kolbi was very helpful in explaining the service plans etc. When we need a replacement for this lovely car, we will certainly return to Harris Kia. 10/10 to everyone we had contact with. More

My wife and I saw a Kia Sportage on display at a local mall and really loved the up to date design and features. Upon entering the lot of Harris Kia we were greeted by a well dressed and well spoken sales mall and really loved the up to date design and features. Upon entering the lot of Harris Kia we were greeted by a well dressed and well spoken sales associate who introduced herself as Rachel Roy. We hit it off immediately because of her obvious love of life and great sense of humor. we explained what we had seen and our wishes to see other models. Rachel's knowledge of the products that were available was very impressive and she arranged for the model that we wanted to look into further to be removed from the mall display and arrangements were made for a test drive the following day. The test drive was the most comprehensive and informative we have ever experienced. Every unique feature of this vehicle was demonstrated and explained to the fullest. Upon returning to the dealership we were introduced in the parts dept.to the parts adviser, Noel Lesebvre to discuss the availability of some options we had inquired about. Noel in his professional way looked everything up and had the answer for our needs right there on the spot. We had a trade in so decided to pursue the purchase process further. This is usually one of the most taxing experiences of the car purchase. At this point we fast discovered that this dealership is a working team as we went through the negotiations of car, various options and trade in values. The sales manager,Randy Heller and our sales person Rachel Roy were totally cool through the whole process. I might add that we as the buying customer were not just putting our money on the table with out a lot of questions but at the same time we never felt threatened or pressured. If we would have, we would have walked out and said thank you. After an hour or so we all came to an agreement and as it was too late to complete the paperwork we agreed to meet the following day. We met with Jeremy Allen to review warranty options and make final payment. Jeremy is a very impressive young man. Our experience was so positive. When we went over all the options my wife and I made the decision not to purchase any extended warranties. When I turned Jeremy's work sheet over and said, "we are not going to purchase any extended warranty", Jeremy turned to his computer and started the next process. This was impressive because it told us that we are capable of making intelligent decisions for our self.We engaged in a few more questions while he worked and ended up purchasing a three year extended warranty. We were then escorted to the maintenance department and meet with Kolbi Bryant and made the appropriate arrangement for our first service and was also introduced to the awards program of which we also purchased the Platinum plan. As a matter of note. I made a comment to our sales associate about how professional Kolbi was and Rachel said she had not been with the dealership that long. I say, good catch on the part of the dealership. They obviously attract good people. The car was fully detailed, filled with gasoline and readied for us to drive out of the show room. My wife and I drove home, sat down on the couch and both exclaimed, "that was the best car buying experience we have ever had". More
